I've got to say, it's one of those places that really knows how to make you feel at home, with staff who bend over backwards to create memorable experiences, especially if you're marking a special occasion. The Latin American menu is spot on, dishing up bold flavours with fresh, local twists that make every bite exciting – think tantalising tacos, nachos, and cocktails that are just the thing for a fun evening. That new outdoor terrace is a lovely touch too, perfect for soaking up the vibe on a nice day. On the flip side, though, I've heard a few folks mention that some dishes could use a bit more seasoning to really sing, and it's a pity if the service tails off after the food lands, as it starts off so promising. Overall, it's a solid choice for a great time with mates, and I'd pop in again without a second thought, just keeping those little improvements in mind.

A few dishes might come across as a bit underseasoned, like that barbecue braised beef short rib that could do with a touch more flavour.

Incredible service on my father’s fifty-fourth birthday! The staff really went the extra mile to make his birthday special. Really appreciated the sprinklers! The Sunday roast has top-quality ingredients but we would say that a traditional gravy might have suited the roast more than the jus as it was a little overpowering. Regardless, it was fantastic food and my dad said that the steak was incredible. Really happy with the service, atmosphere and food! Thank you!

We came to celebrate my brother's 18th and the staff went above had beyond to make it the most memorable evening. Really couldn't have asked for better! Bedtime service, fantastic food, and cocktails were incredible. Plus the brownies!

Spending a night in Chester … of all the restaurants we could choose we picked Six One Six. Didn’t disappoint, would highly recommend. Food was excellent; service was just as good. The owner made a point to stopping by the table to thank us for our patronage. Engaging young man who we wish every success with this restaurant. Definitely worth a visit.

This restaurant offers a clean, pleasant atmosphere with paradoxically over-apologetic staff who initially engage enthusiastically but become noticeably inattentive once meals arrive. The barbecue braised beef short rib—though plated thoughtfully—suffered from underseasoned, bland meat that desperately needed the upsold sauce (which I declined hoping there will be some flavour in the meat). While the team excels at first impressions, inconsistent service and execution on core dishes undermine the experience.

If you are looking for both elegance and warmth, whilst centered in the heart of Chester - then look no further! Tonight was yet another occasion I have visited the lovely SIX ONE SIX, and the experience simply gets better each and every time. Both the food and cocktails, are simply out of this world. There is nothing that is too much for the attentive staff - hospitality and overall experience is second to none. We engorged in the Chateaubriand steak, a variety of sides, the Oysters and a selection of cocktails - all of which were delectable and made to perfection. Could not recommend highly enough, thank you for another memorable evening!
