About This Pub
Ah, Six Barrel Drafthouse – it's one of those places in Nottingham that just feels like a hidden gem, you know? From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, folks are really chuffed with the wide array of drinks on offer, especially the craft beers and real ales that keep everyone coming back. The atmosphere is spot on for a relaxed catch-up; it's cosy without being cramped, and the music's at just the right level so you can actually hear your mates. Service-wise, the team there seems to go the extra mile – think prompt attention and even drinks delivered to your table, which is a nice touch on a busy night. Oh, and don't overlook the rooftop bar; it's a brilliant spot for a sunny afternoon pint. On the flip side, the beer display screen could do with a bit of an upgrade as it doesn't always show everything available, which might leave you scratching your head over choices. Plus, it can be quieter than expected sometimes, so if you're in the mood for a proper lively session, you might need to pick your timing carefully. All in all, it's a solid choice for a good night out – affordable, dog-friendly, and with free board games to boot – so I'd say give it a go if you're after that perfect balance of comfort and quality.

-
It's dog-friendly, which is great if you're out with your furry friend, and they've got free board games to keep things fun.

Prices are reasonable, so you won't break the bank for a decent pint, and they've options like good coffee for non-beer drinkers.
Cons
-
The screen showing the beers isn't quite up to scratch – it misses some options, which can make choosing a bit frustrating.
-
It can be a tad quiet at times, so if you're after a lively buzz, you might find it a bit subdued depending on when you visit.

Finally tried the place right next door.
Didn’t expect to like it this much. Great drinks, cosy vibe, kind people. Might’ve found my spot!
Wonderful service from Tara tonight. Very prompt and lovely customer service. Great place overall, especially roof top bar. Will definitely come back !
Hubby prefers teal ale, so nice to find somewhere with a decent choice. Relaxed atmosphere and decent coffee for those of us that don't drink beer.
Hip bar with lots of very good beer on. They've got things like volume of music right so you can have a good chat with your mates without having to shout at them.
They have a screen with their beers on but it's not as effective as it could be- it was definitely missing some of the beer they had and the speed it was changing was too slow.
Was quite quiet when we went in, however the service was fast and they brought our drinks to the table. There are also plenty of board games to play which are free. Not too expensive for a pint. Dog friendly too.
