About This Pub

Ah, Faradays Nottingham, what a spot it is! From what I've gathered chatting about it with mates, it's one of those places that just gets the balance right for a good pub experience. The staff really shine through in the reviews – they're described as super friendly and on point, like that bartender Charles who's apparently a legend with his cocktails, or the team bending over backwards for birthdays and brunches. It's got this welcoming vibe that makes you feel right at home, whether you're popping in for a quick pint or settling in for the game. The drinks selection is spot on too, with craft beers and cocktails that folks rave about, and those tasty deals like the summer rum specials add a nice touch without costing a fortune. Food-wise, it's generally a hit; burgers and pizzas come up as delicious and good value, especially with their offers, though a couple of comments suggest it might not be the most innovative – more your solid, reliable pub grub rather than fine dining. On the flip side, it can get a bit lively, which is great for atmosphere but might mean waits for service when it's packed. All in all, if you're after a place that's reliable for a laugh with friends, watching sport, or even hosting a do, Faradays is worth a visit – it's got that warm, community feel with just enough excitement to keep things interesting.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The staff are absolutely brilliant – always friendly, attentive, and go the extra mile to make sure you're having a great time, like keeping glasses topped up during bottomless brunch.
  • They've got a fantastic selection of craft beers and cocktails, plus tasty deals like the summer specials that make it feel like a proper treat without breaking the bank.
  • The food hits the spot, with options like delicious pizzas and burgers that are great value, especially with their offers – perfect for a casual catch-up or watching the big games.
  • It's a lively spot with loads on offer, from live sport to bottomless brunches and even private events, so there's always something to get excited about.
Cons
  • Some dishes might come across as fairly standard rather than standout, like a burger that tastes nice but doesn't wow you if you're after something more adventurous.
  • While the service is top-notch, it could get a bit hectic during peak times, so you might have to wait a tad longer for things if it's buzzing.

Thank you so much to Tyler for looking after us for Bottomless Brunch! This was our first time at Faradays. Drinks selection was brilliant, pizza was delicious but most of all the service was absolutely STELLAR. Never had an empty glass. Will definitely be back!!!

We had a 40th Birthday party here my daughters can be awkward with food and weren't happy. The staff did everything they could even bent over backwards the please everyone. They were polite didn't judge just did their job. I can't put in to words how amazing they were. On top of that the burgers were great. The family had a really good time. Thank you to all the staff working on the 17/05/25 dinner time you all were amazing thank you

My wife and I visited lunchtime on Wednesday and had the special 7 pound meal. I had a burger and coke, my wife had a Donner and chips. The burger and chips was fairly standard but tasted very nice and was worth 7 pounds. My wife had the kebab for 7 pounds on flatbread it was large on flatbread and a massive portion of fries. She loved the meal. Service was fairly quick but restaurant was not busy

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) Charles is hands down the best bartender in town! From the moment we walked in, he made us feel welcome with his charm and quick wit. His drink-making skills are top-tier—every cocktail was perfectly balanced and crafted with care. What really sets Charles apart is his personality. His moustache? Iconic. His hair? A conversation starter. But his service? Absolutely flawless. He knows exactly what you need before you even ask, and his recommendations are always on point. If you’re looking for a great night out with incredible drinks and even better company, Charles is your guy. Can’t wait to come back!

We had a good evening out at Faraday's. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. They resolved any issues we had promptly. Joey was especially hard working. The food was tasty and great value with the January offer. The Bombay burger and Italian job burger are absolutely delicious. We would recommend!! Good place to go, especially if you want to watch a football match.
