About This Pub
Ah, Revolución de Cuba in Belfast – what a gem it is, tucked away in this gorgeous Art Nouveau building right in the heart of the city. I've got to say, it's one of those places that just lifts your spirits the moment you walk in, with its authentic Cuban vibes, fresh Latin dishes, and an array of rum and cocktails that are absolute winners. The staff are brilliant, always cheerful and on hand to recommend deals like happy hour, which makes it feel like you're chatting with mates behind the bar. The food's a real highlight too – think zingy tapas that's spot on for a relaxed lunch, though it might not quite hit the spot if you're after something more substantial for dinner. On the flip side, it does get pretty lively with the live music and dancing, which is fantastic if you're up for a party, but it can make conversations a tad difficult when things ramp up. All in all, it's a top spot for a fun night out or a cheeky cocktail, especially if you fancy a bit of that Havana magic without leaving Belfast – just keep in mind it might not be the quietest corner for a deep chat. I'd definitely pop back for another go!
Pros and Cons
Pros

-
The food is surprisingly tasty with fresh Latin-inspired flavours and plenty of veggie or vegan options, perfect for a light bite or lunch.
-
It's got a vibrant, authentic Cuban atmosphere in a stunning Art Nouveau building, with live music, salsa beats, and entertainment that really gets the party going.
-

-
The venue transforms into a lively spot after 10pm, turning into more of a nightclub with great music and enough space to dance, even when it gets busy.
Cons
-
Portions can be a bit on the small side, so it's more suited for a casual lunch rather than a hearty dinner, which might leave you wanting more.
-
It gets quite loud with the live music and crowds, making it tricky to chat or hear the staff properly, especially if you're after a quiet catch-up.
-
The place can fill up quickly, particularly in the evenings, so you might have to plan ahead or deal with a bit of a wait for space.

A really nice venue, friendly and efficient young staff who pointed out the happy hour deal on cocktails which was so welcome. Will definitely return.
Went in at 5.15pm and tried the lunch deal for only £8 which included a main of your choice and a soft drink or coffee. The portions weren't huge but it was enough and the food was surprisingly good! Would definitely pop in again.
cool place, amazing entertainments. we came from Dublin and like this place! we been there after 10pm and place changed to nightclub! it was nice experience to see this kind of entertainments. place got busy after 11pm but still had enough space to dance. musics was great!! loved it!!
Cool place with good deals on cocktails and nice food. Portions are small and more suited for lunch than dinner but really tasty and good options for veggie/vegan. Live musicians are great but it is a bit loud so that would be the only downside. Hard to hear each other and the waiting staff so a lot of shouting and repeating. Kids options are great with DIY tacos, veg side and churros for dessert!
Wow wow wow!!!! This is a hidden gem.
I entered the building with so much stress on my mind from work and things that need to get done, but once i was in, my stress disappeared and i was soaking in all the beauty around me.
Absolutely stunning venue (international quality).
Talented men were the live entertainment.
Cocktails were actually presented in different style glasses and with crushed ice (something that i find is missing in Belfast...for some reason Belfast likes giving you chunky ice when they make cocktails... maybe cause they have delicious chunky chips...but nah... Belfast..come learn here how to make a cocktail)
I can't comment on the food as i didn't order anything...a colleague did say its a hit and miss with meals (you might want to find out yourself).
To conclude: you MUST STOP HERE...go in...and have 2 cocktails.
