About This Pub
So, I've been having a look at Pub On The Shrubs, and it's one of those places that really grows on you once you're inside – it might not look like much from the outside, but they've done a cracking job with the interior, offering a function room, sports bar, games room, and even some outdoor areas for a breather. It's brilliant for catching live Premier League action or enjoying the likes of Sunday singers, Rock 'n' Roll bands, or even bingo nights; there's always something going on to liven up the evening. The drinks selection is solid with a good range of lagers, ciders, and alcohol-free options, and the prices are spot on, especially compared to some of the pricier pubs around. On the flip side, though, the car park is a tad small, which could be a hassle if you're driving, and it's a pity about the lack of real ales on tap for those who fancy something more traditional. All in all, it's a solid choice for a relaxed get-together or a fun night out, as long as you go in with realistic expectations – the good vibes and friendly feel definitely outweigh the minor niggles.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The atmosphere is absolutely buzzing, with live sports on big screens and plenty of entertainment like singers and bands to keep things lively.
-
Prices are really reasonable, making it a wallet-friendly spot for a pint or a night out without breaking the bank.
-
They've got great facilities, including a function room for events, a games room with pool and darts, and even outdoor space for when the weather's nice.
-
The staff are top-notch, always friendly and on hand to make sure everything runs smoothly.
Cons
-
The car park is a bit on the small side, so you might end up hunting for street parking, especially on busier nights.
-
If you're after real ales, they don't have any on draught, which is a shame for those who prefer that over the lagers and ciders on offer.

The place does not look much from outside but inside...wow. Function room, sports bar, games room and outside space. Very well done out. Car Park is small for the size of the venue but there is on street parking around the place. My only issue was no real ales on draught. Other than that had a fantastic night.
