About This Pub
Ah, Pub On The Park – it's one of those places that really captures the essence of a proper London boozer, tucked away near London Fields where you can soak up the fresh air and park scenery while enjoying a cold one. I've heard from loads of folks that it's fantastic for watching the big games on their screens or grabbing a bite like those mouthwatering burgers or a hearty Sunday roast, which seems to hit the spot every time. The no-fee function rooms are a bonus if you're planning a casual do with friends, and the staff can be an absolute delight, with stories of brilliant bar service that keeps the energy high. On the flip side, it's not all smooth sailing; a few mates have shared tales of getting overcharged or dealing with less than stellar service from the bar team, especially when things get crowded, which can take the edge off an otherwise fun night. Overall, it's a solid choice for a laid-back catch-up or event, but I'd say go in with realistic expectations and maybe check it's not too rammed before heading over – that way, you're set for a top-notch time.

Cons
-
Service isn't always top-notch – some folks have mentioned issues like overcharging or unhelpful staff, which can put a dampener on the evening.
-
It gets pretty busy, especially in summer, so you might end up waiting longer for drinks or a table than you'd like.
-
A couple of reviews pointed out that the bar team's service could be better, which might leave you feeling a bit overlooked if it's a hectic night.

I went there for a date with my girlfriend for our anniversary. I order 2 burgers with chips one with sweet potatoe fries and they overcharged my girlfriend £35. When I went up to ask to try and explain the manager and fix the order the staff was nice originally but the manager butted in and was extremely rude and I felt very offended. It killed the whole mood so we decided to leave and they put it in take away containers very bland no potatoe fries either. We won't be going back at all, gave the food to my dog. Greedy pub only interested in your money with poor customer service from the people who run it and it goes downwards to the employees unfortunately. If you want to be over charged, spoken to disgustingly, then go here.
I’ve been coming here for years. Nat is the best Barwoman there’s been!! She’s so patient and has banter! Genuinely enjoys her job and has fun with clients purchasing. FIND HER AND YOU’LL SEE!! Great energy 🤌
Located on the edge of London Fields, this pub offers a spacious beer garden with views over the park. It's a popular spot, especially in summer, with outdoor seating and big screens for sports events. The menu includes pub classics like burgers and chips, and the bar serves a range of beers and cocktails. Inside, the atmosphere is lively, and the pub hosts events such as comedy nights. While it can get crowded, especially on weekends, it's a good place for a casual drink or meal with friends.
Great, really flavourful roasts! Good beer selection. Great atmosphere to watch a match. Service from the bar staff could be better.
A lively pub that’s perfect for catching events or enjoying a Sunday roast. The roast was quite good and offered great value for money. The outdoor area is especially charming during the warmer months. One of our favourite spots when we are in East London!
