About This Pub
Ah, Number Fifteen in Chester – what a gem for those laid-back evenings or a quick trip away. From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, this place really shines with its welcoming vibe; you know, that sort of spot where you can pop in for a pint, chat with the friendly folk behind the bar, and maybe catch a match on the telly. The drinks are a highlight – affordable and of good quality, especially the beer, which keeps things light on the wallet without skimping on taste. And if you're staying over, the rooms sound like a treat; comfy beds, quirky decor, and everything spotlessly clean, right in the thick of things so you're never far from the action. It's open every day from 11 until 11 at night, which is handy for a spontaneous visit. But, to keep it real, there was that one off experience where someone got bad advice on parking and ended up pretty miffed, which could throw a spanner in the works if you're driving. Overall, though, with a solid 4.0 rating from plenty of happy visitors, it's got more ups than downs – I'd say give it a go if you're after a no-fuss pub with a bit of character, just keep an eye on the details to avoid any surprises.

Cons
-
There was at least one disappointing experience reported, involving misleading advice on parking that left someone feeling let down.
-
While most feedback is positive, that one negative review highlights potential inconsistencies in how things are handled, so it might not be flawless every time.
-
The overall rating is solid, but with a recent average dipping to 3.7, it suggests there could be occasional slip-ups in service or expectations.

Fantastic bar with wide range of drinks. Astronomically cheap and good quality beer. Plenty of seating and TVs for sports. Clean toilets. Great service and nice friendly people.

One Star – Extremely Disappointed, Be Warned
I had a really bad experience staying at Hotel 15 in Chester. Upon arrival, the staff explicitly told me where I could park for free. I parked exactly where I was advised to, and they even saw me park there. A few weeks later, I received 2 parking fines
I’ve emailed the hotel twice over the past two months, hoping they would at least acknowledge the issue or help resolve it — but I’ve been completely ignored. Not a single response. Their lack of responsibility and poor customer service has been shocking.
In the end, I’ve had to pay the fine myself, which was about the same cost as the hotel stay. Essentially, I’ve paid double for one night, all because of their bad advice and refusal to engage afterwards.
I definitely won’t be returning, and I strongly advise anyone considering staying here to be very careful, especially with parking. Terrible service, and a really disappointing
I booked a random cheap and central location and I was blown away by the room. Decor was cute and quirky but bathoom was spotless and modern, location is perfect too. It's so nice to see something that isn't just a plain white travelodge room.
Great rooms above the pub right on the high street. Clean, comfy & very quirky!! Very close to some great bars & restaurants, all in all a great stay!
