About This Pub
Oh, the New Inn in Worcester – it's one of those pubs that just feels like a proper local hideaway, you know? From what I've gathered from chats with others who've been, the food is spot on, with everything from hearty grills to those pub classics we all crave, all cooked fresh and served with a smile. The staff really go the extra mile to make you feel at home, and it's brilliant that they welcome dogs, so you can bring the whole gang along. That beer garden is a real winner on a sunny day, perfect for sipping on well-poured ales or lagers while catching up with mates. But, fair's fair, some of the dishes can feel a bit steep price-wise, like that pie that's got a few unexpected bits in it for the cost, so it's worth having a think about what you're in the mood for. All in all, it's a solid choice if you're after a good night out without the hustle of the city centre – just pop in when it's open and enjoy the vibe!
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The food is freshly cooked and of excellent quality, with pub classics like grills, burgers, and roasts that really hit the spot – it's all about those comforting favourites done just right.
-
Staff are incredibly friendly and professional, making every visit feel warm and welcoming, like chatting with old mates behind the bar.
-
The pub itself is spotlessly clean and cosy, with plenty of space for families, friends, and even your furry companions – it's a proper dog-friendly spot.
-
They've got a lovely beer garden that's perfect for lazy afternoons with drinks and grub in the sunshine, adding a bit of outdoor charm to the experience.
-
Regular offers like 30% off mains and Sunday roasts make it a great value spot, especially if you're after a deal without skimping on quality.
Cons
-
Some menu items, like that pricey pie at £19.50, might not quite live up to expectations if you're hoping for all meat without the extras – it's worth checking the details first.
-
The place is listed as closed at the moment, so it's a good idea to verify the opening times before you pop over, just to avoid any disappointment.

Recent Reviews
I recently went to the New Inn for food with my daughter. The food was freshly cooked and of an excellent quality. The pub is very clean and the staff are very professional
Friendly staff and nice food.
We tried the world's best pie, which was good, but for me at a price point of £19.50 there shouldn't be potato in it! Their own steak and merlot pie is equally good and all meat. And cheaper.
Let's be honest the New Inn is probably so named because it's just a little bit newer than the nearest other pub, so it's quirky, cozy and very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and the food, mainly pub staples, was very good. My scampi and chips really was the best I've had for a very long time.
After moving to the area we thought we'd try the new inn out for valentine's day. A lovely welcoming pub with great service both from the bar and the kitchen. The wait times for food were reasonable but the quality of the food was really good. Overall a really nice experience and we will definitely be back again soon.
What an amazing little find! Don't bother going into the city, STOP RIGHT HERE!
The general vibe is lovely and the food is OUTSTANDING!
I recommend the chorizo truffled mac n cheese, but the sirloin looked lovely too!
