About This Pub
Ah, Mulligans Sports Bar – it's one of those places that just hits the spot for a good night out with your lot. From what I've gathered, the staff are absolute stars; they're always on hand with a smile and top-notch service, making everything feel effortless and enjoyable. Whether you're there to sink a few pints while watching the footie on those giant HD screens or to have a proper game of pool or snooker, they've got the kit to make it memorable. The food's a real treat too – think quality bar meals that hit the spot without breaking the bank, and with free parking and a cosy beer garden, it's all about convenience and comfort. On the flip side, it does get buzzing during major events, which can make it feel a tad overwhelming if you're not in the mood for a crowd, and if you're not a sports fan, you might find the atmosphere a bit one-track. Still, it's a solid choice for a fun, laid-back evening, and I'd say it's worth popping in to see for yourself – just keep an eye on those Sunday closing times if you're planning a longer sesh.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in.
-
It's got top-notch facilities like 10 English pool tables, snooker options, and darts boards, all well-maintained for a proper game with mates.
-
A brilliant spot for catching live sports with massive HD screens and plenty of tellys, so you won't miss a second of the action.
-
They offer great food and a wide selection of drinks, from tasty bar meals to draught beers, plus perks like free parking and a beer garden for a breather outside.
-
The VIP room is a gem for special occasions, with its own pool table, darts, and even music control – perfect for a private get-together.
Cons
-
It can get quite lively during big matches or events, which might make it a bit too hectic if you're after a really quiet night.
-
If sports aren't your thing, the focus on games and viewing might not hold your interest for long, as it's very much geared towards enthusiasts.
-
Opening hours wrap up fairly early on Sundays, so it's not ideal for those late-night sessions you might fancy.

Class place for a chill night with mates, also I left my jacket there December time last year on a works do and thought that it was gone. However after coming back 6 months later they still had it safe and didn’t keep it for themselves, class act and really appreciate the manager for looking out. Recommend 100%
