About This Pub
Ah, Laki Kane – what a gem it is for those evenings when you fancy whisking yourself away to a bit of Caribbean flair without leaving London. From the moment you walk in, the vibe is just electric, with DJs spinning tunes and performers like fire dancers adding that extra spark to make it feel truly special. The staff are an absolute delight, always on hand to ensure you're looked after without hovering, which really enhances the whole experience. Now, the cocktails? They're nothing short of brilliant – each one feels like a little performance in itself, with unique infusions and presentations that leave you impressed and coming back for more. Pair that with some seriously good food, like the smoky Miso Aubergine or the flavoursome Jerk Salmon, and you've got a recipe for a top-notch night. It's especially great for birthdays or group gatherings, where they go the extra mile to make it memorable. On the flip side, it's not the cheapest spot, so you might feel the pinch if you're not budgeting for it, and the high-energy atmosphere could be a bit much if you're in the mood for something more low-key. All in all, though, it's a fantastic choice for a fun, immersive evening – just plan ahead and you'll have a whale of a time!

This place is amazing! The vibe is brilliant and created by the staff. The DJ is also spot on 👌🏼. The staff are so attentive and are keen to make sure you have the best night without too overbearing. So friendly. The food is good too but the cocktails made the night for me. I cannot wait to go back!
Excellent vibe and atmosphere, celebrated my birthday here and the staff were gr8 at ensuring I enjoyed my time, music was great and the food and drinks were delicious! Highly recommend the Jerk Salmon !
Excellent service. All the food was good, but the Miso Aubergine stands out! super smoky and flavourful, highly recommend it! It was my birthday, and the staff made it really special with a little sparkler and shots. The cocktails are all really cool too, with a fun element of theatre at the table. Would come back again!
The Caribbean is in Islington!! Great music all night long, the staff are incredible, service top notch. The food selection is epic, we actually shared different options as we "wanted everything". The margarita flavours were unique and expertly done, packed a punch too.
Can't wait to go back 💛
I had this place saved to go for a very long time and, casually, my boyfriend took me here for lunch for my birthday. It's probably one of the best places we've been in London on a date, considering the experience, the food and the price. We had the set menu for £25, which includes a cocktail, a starter and a main (plus a couple extra sides and another cocktail each). I wasn't expecting much from the food for this price, but it was surprisingly good and ended up full. I wish there were more offers like this in other bars/restaurants in London. It got busier the later it got in the afternoon and the vibe is very nice. The atmosphere inside is really cool, from the decoration to the music, and very nice cocktails with fancy glasses. We had a good experience with the service too, very nice and attentive. I would recommend this place as a fun date spot or for drinks/food with a few friends. I will definitely go back!
