About This Pub

Oh, mate, if you're after a proper laugh and a bit of belting out tunes with your pals, Lucky Voice Islington is definitely one to check out – it's got that warm, welcoming vibe that's just right for letting loose. I love how the staff go above and beyond; they're chatty, efficient, and really make you feel at home, whether it's helping with drink choices or sorting out a masterclass for a special occasion. The private rooms are a highlight, with loads of songs to choose from and cheeky features like the 'Thirsty' button that make ordering a breeze – it's all about creating those unforgettable moments, especially for group events or even just turning a dull Monday around. On the flip side, though, it's not the cheapest spot in town; you'll need to factor in the per-person pricing, which can climb during peak times or for longer sessions, so it might not be ideal if you're on a tight budget. Still, with their happy hour deals and occasional freebies, it's a solid choice for a balanced night out – just plan ahead and you'll have a whale of a time!

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The staff are absolutely brilliant – friendly, helpful, and always ready to make your night special, like that bartender who guided someone through the drinks menu.
  • It's a cracking spot for a group singalong with private karaoke rooms that come with fun features like the 'Thirsty' button for easy ordering of cocktails and pizza.
  • The atmosphere is spot on for celebrations, whether it's a hen do, birthday, or just a casual get-together, with a great song selection and even live DJ vibes on weekends.
  • They've got some brilliant deals, like happy hour prices and special promotions, such as free karaoke sessions or discounted rates for events, making it more accessible for a fun night out.
Cons
  • It can get a bit pricey, especially if you're staying for a few hours – one group mentioned spending around £65 per person for three hours, which adds up quickly.
  • Bookings have a minimum of two hours and peak-time pricing kicks in, so it's worth checking the costs in advance to avoid any surprises on the bill.
  • While the service is top-notch, some folks have noted that the overall experience might feel a tad expensive for what you get, particularly if you're just popping in for a quick sing.

I came to this establishment on a busy Saturday. It was my first karaoke bar ive been to in London and it did not disappoint. I’m really bad at remembering the names for all the drinks, but the bartender, I think her name was Shelby or something, talked me through all the options and what they contained and then made me the most scrumptious drink I’ve ever had. She was really friendly and helpful. 10/10 place and staff

I didn't eat any food so I cannot comment on that. It was £11pp for an hour and we sang for 3 hours. Managed to get a happy drinks hour. Ended up spending around £65pp. The place had a good atmosphere and the service was good. Just feel the need to give a heads up for people who would want to sing a foreign song. The foreign songs i.e. Korean are all phonetically written so unless you know the lyrics by heart, it is impossible to follow. The mic volume was so low (despite turning the mic volume highest) you couldn't hear people's singing voice well. The speed of lyrics on the screen didn't sync with the music. The machine doesn't have an option to change the key of any music was so bad. Not everyone can hit the high note. There was no remote control to choose or stop the music so people had to stand next to the small screen while choosing the song blocking the the bigger screen with the lyrics displaying. All in all, atmosphere was good but the better music machine could be used. 12 people used the room 1.

Thanks you to Fillipo who led our master class for the hen do today and to Yas for organising it at Islington Happy Voice. He was funny, engaging and great at his job. We made cocktails and mocktails and they were delicious. We had a really good time. Thank you

I was having a bad Monday and I happened to be walking home 🏠 when I saw the catching logo. LUCKY VOICE and immediately I entered in I had a Blast 💥. The staff were very friendly polite and professional. They oriented me to the place the room how to have fun and call for service if I needed any!!!shout out to Andre and Saumya👌🏽 I really had an amazing time! My only challenge is I couldn’t get Swahili songs but that was sorted out and I was informed to send recommendations via email which I will. Anyways I will definitely be back!!! I also had to connoisseur the cocktails 🍹 and I had a bitter sweet symphony 👌🏽delicious! Good for groups too! Giving it a 10/10
