About This Pub

Ah, The Vineyard Islington – it's one of those places that really pulls you in with its warm, welcoming vibe, especially if you're out with mates for a birthday bash or just to catch the big game. I love how the staff are so attentive and cheerful; they've got this knack for making you feel right at home, whether it's by offering up a round of shots or sorting out the outdoor seating after a downpour. The bottomless brunch deals sound like a right laugh, with plenty of drinks flowing and a fun atmosphere that keeps things upbeat. Plus, with live sports on the telly and a cosy beer garden, it's ideal for those relaxed afternoons or evenings. But, to keep it real, there are a couple of downsides – like when drinks don't quite hit the mark and you end up forking out extra to get them sorted, which can feel a bit steep. And if you're there early doors, it might be on the chilly side until it heats up. All in all, it's a solid choice for a good night out in London, as long as you go in with your eyes open to those little niggles – I'd say give it a try and see what you think!

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The staff are incredibly friendly and go the extra mile, like surprising groups with shots on birthdays or wiping down seats in the rain
  • It's a fantastic spot for group events and celebrations, with generous bottomless drinks and a lively atmosphere that makes for a great time
  • They've got a cracking beer garden and host live sports, which is perfect for casual catch-ups over craft beers and cocktails
Cons
  • Drinks can be inconsistently made, with some ending up overpriced if they're not right the first time, like that Aperol spritz fiasco
  • Food options might disappoint, such as when brunch isn't available and you're stuck with just burgers and pizza
  • It can feel a bit chilly when they first open, so you might want to layer up if you're heading in early

Charge £12.50 for an aperol spritz but doesn't follow the recipe as they put only one shot of aperol, instead of two in so it doesn't taste good. Charged £19 to have it made correctly with two shots which is outrageous for one very simple drink

We went for a team brunch, the venue had pretty much just opened for the day so was a bit chilly at first. We came for the bottomless brunch, we ordered our first round of drinks, we decided what food we wanted, only to be informed there was no brunch option only burgers and pizza... A bit disappointing not to be told this as we were seated. However drinks did flow and the burgers were great it is Def a value for money experience. Maybe next time we'll actually get brunch...

Came here as part of my friends birthday plans, they noticed his birthday badge and got the whole table a round of shots. There was also no dry seats outside as it had been raining, and no seats inside and a member of staff came out to wipe all the seats down for us to sit outside. Just great customer service, thank you.

I had an incredible experience at the vineyard - a perfect venue for birthdays and Uni celebrations. The atmosphere was amazing, and the staff were not only attentive and friendly but also highly knowledgeable about both the drinks and the surrounding area. The christmas decorations were beautiful and the mulled wine was excellent. Highly recommended for any occasion!
