About This Pub
Ah, the Lady of the Lake – it's one of those pubs that really captures the heart of a good British local, you know? From the moment you step in, you're greeted with that warm, family-run vibe that's all about making everyone feel at home, whether you're popping in for a quiet pint or gearing up for live music on a Saturday night. The staff are absolute gems, always ready with a smile and happy to help, which makes the whole place feel like a friendly chat with old pals. Their drinks selection is spot on, with a cracking range of beers and ciders that go down a treat, and it's brilliant for catching the big sports matches on the screens. The food's generally a winner too, with hearty portions and reasonable prices that won't break the bank, though it's not perfect – some bits like the panini might be a tad average, and if you're in a big group, you could end up waiting ages for your meals to arrive, which is a bit of a shame when the rest of the table's already finished. Still, it's dog-friendly and great for events, so if you're after a relaxed spot to enjoy a night out in Lowestoft, I'd say give it a go; just keep those wait times in mind and you'll have a top time.

Cons

-
While the atmosphere is great, it might not always deliver that seamless experience if things get busy.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Food a mixed bag. Ham and cheese panini very average. Onion rings, absolutely incredible.
Was a fantastic place to visit food was great and the lady behind the bar was fantastic and nothing was too much trouble
Lovely pub to have a meal at 😊
The only downside I have was that there were 11 of us in our party eating. We all ordered together, and from the first meals to come out, we waited a good 35 minutes for the last 4 meals. By that time the rest of the party had finished. It wasn't like we all ordered different meals either - we kept it simple. But on a better note, the food was delicious and fresh. ( onion rings could do with a bit less batter ) It was also nice that our furry babies (dogs) were welcome inside, too.
Fantastic place, really friendly great service. Good choice of meals, cooked beautifully, good portions and very reasonable prices. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area. Also some real nice ciders and to top it all doggy friendly.
Was a lovely friendly atmosphere. Food very reasonable prices and was really lovely.
Staff are friendly and helpful.
Definitely going again soon xx
