About This Pub
Ah, the Kings Head – it's one of those pubs that just feels like a proper gem in London, doesn't it? From what I've gathered, the staff really go the extra mile to make you feel welcome, which sets the tone for a lovely evening out. The food stands out too; we're talking tasty dishes with big portions that hit the spot, whether you're popping in for a quick bite or settling in for the night. It's got that classic historic feel, being around since the 1800s, and it's spot-on for families or if you've got your furry friend in tow. Oh, and if you're a sports fan, it's a top spot for catching the action on the telly. On the flip side, it does get heaving during events, so you might end up queuing a bit, and the prices are moderate, which could add up if you're not careful. All in all, it's a solid choice for a good time – I'd say give it a go and see for yourself, as the positives far outweigh any minor niggles.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in
-
The food is absolutely delicious with generous portions – perfect for a hearty meal with mates
-
It's got a cosy, historic vibe that's just charming, especially in a lively spot like Bayswater
-
Brilliant for watching live sports, with big screens and a great atmosphere for events like the Women's Euros
-
Family and dog-friendly, plus they've got facilities for everyone, making it accessible and inclusive
Cons
-
It can get quite busy during peak times or big events, which might mean a bit of a wait for food or a table
-
The drinks selection is good, but some might find the moderate prices a tad on the higher side for a casual pub

The staff were very wholesome and friendly, creating a very welcoming and inclusive pub.
Honestly, the wait time for food wasn't that long , so it's worth to just stick around and wait.
Their food was sumptuous and in a large portion. Perfect place for date or small group.
So walked back into the king’s head not sure what’s happened but total turn around .
Mick and Ash went above and beyond on their own handling a very busy fully booked venue . Props to them keep up the good work. Great sports spot deffo come again .
We ordered one of the Sharers (chicken in Korean bbq sauce) and the chocolate and caramel torte. Everything was delicious. The place is nice and cozy.

Great little pub not far from Kensington park. Had the mulled wine for $9 a person and it was nice. Had a fresh slice of orange and cinnamon stick in it. The pub was overall cozy and the bartender was very sweet ! Didn’t have a chance to eat here unfortunately.
Nice atmosphere and really good food, better than at some restaurants. We had the Chicken Kyiv, the Mushroom chicken pie, and the peach tart tatin - all of them delicious. They also have a wide range of drinks, alcoholic and non alcoholic. Very helpful and attentive staff
