About This Pub
Ah, the King's Arms, it's one of those hidden gems in Kingswood that just feels like a proper local haunt, you know? From what I've gathered from the reviews, it's got this warm, welcoming atmosphere where you can pop in for a pint and end up staying till last orders because the crowd's so lively and the service behind the bar is spot on. I love how they've spruced the place up with a nice refurb, and that pool table sounds like a winner for a quick game with friends. The beer is fresh, the music's good, and if you're lucky with the weather, the garden is an absolute delight – makes me think of lazy afternoons chatting away. On the flip side, it's a bit of a shame there's no website to look up what's on offer, and while it's affordable and open every day, it might not have the same range of options as some of the bigger pubs out there. All in all, if you're in the area, I'd say give it a go; it's got that homely feel that makes you want to come back for more.

They've got a lovely garden that's perfect for enjoying a pint in the sunshine – what a treat on a nice day!
-
The beer is fresh and the music hits the spot, plus there's tasty grub like those rolls from Kiddles Griddle.
-
It's got a nicely refurbished interior with a decent pool table, ideal for a bit of fun after work.
-
Prices are inexpensive, so you won't break the bank for a good time, and the staff are top-notch and attentive.
Cons
-
It's a small local pub without a website, which makes it tricky to check out menus or events online before heading over.
-
With only a handful of reviews sharing the full picture, it might not have the same buzz or variety as bigger chains like Spoons.
-
The operating hours are fairly standard, but if you're after something open early on Sundays, it starts a bit late at 10:00 or 12:00 depending on the day.

What a place, lovely garden in the sunshine.
Makes a welcome change to Spoons.
The beer was fresh, the music was good, the roll from kiddles griddle was top notch...I came in out of the rain and was so glad I did! A beautiful little pub in Kingswood.
Had a surprisingly fun time here for a Wednesday night. We'd popped in for a pint at lunch and found it friendly and welcoming, so stopped by on our way home in the evening and wound up staying to last call because of how fun and friendly the crowd there was.
Service behind the bar was great, prices and atmosphere were excellent and the bar was packed with good folk who were very welcoming. As Canadians visiting Kingswood for the first time it made an excellent impression, and we'll definitely be coming back!
Very nice pub. Completely renovated. They have a pool table which is nice. Lovely staff.
Nicely refurbished pub with a really decent pool table
