About This Pub
Ah, the Jolly Anglers, it's one of those classic pubs in Beeston that really captures the heart of Nottingham's local scene. I've got to say, from what I've gathered, it's got that warm, community feel where the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome, and the beer garden is an absolute gem for sunny days or bringing the little ones along. They're always up for some live music or a quiz night, which adds a fun buzz without it getting too overwhelming. The drink offers are spot on too – great value and a nice variety to suit everyone. On the flip side, I've heard a whisper or two about a less-than-stellar reputation floating around, though that seems to be more hearsay than anything solid, as most folks rave about it. Also, keep an eye on the opening times because they can vary a bit, and it might not always be as lively if you're popping in on a quieter day. All in all, it's a solid choice for a relaxed catch-up with mates or a family Sunday session – I'd definitely give it a go if you're in the area!

If I could give this establishment a big fat ZERO I would. Never actually tried this pub thankfully! From the outside it looks like one of those cosy little village pubs. But, upon hearing it's reputation, I am most thankful that I just passed it by.
Didn't eat here called in for a drink. The staff were friendly and welcoming it's great beer garden too brilliant for those of you with children. Can definitely recommend this place 😀
A true local community pub. Clean, wonderful staff managed by Paula, one wonderful, always on the go, energetic landlady. Well worth a visit!
Spent a lovely Sunday afternoon listening to a really good live band ( Fat Chance). I have been to this pub a couple of times and always found it busy with an excellent welcoming atmosphere which Ithink speaks for itself.
Popped in here for quick pint whilst my partner was visiting an elderly family member in one of the local homes.
The bar staff were friendly and the lager I had was cold and refreshing! The beer garden was great for the kids and had shade enough to keep out of the sun, if so wished.
A good, honest pub with plenty of clientele . It was pleasantly busy when I visited.
