About This Pub
Ah, Jinnie Inn – it's one of those pubs that just pulls you in with its welcoming charm, tucked away in Rolleston-on-Dove. From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, the food really steals the show; that wood-fired pizza is a standout, and it's all at prices that won't break the bank. The staff are proper lovely, always up for a chat, and the outdoor area is brilliant for a sunny afternoon pint or even bringing the dog along for the ride. It's open most days from midday, which is handy for a lazy lunch or evening out. On the flip side, though, it's not without its flaws – there've been a few tales of the chef being MIA, leaving you high and dry if you're after a bite, and being a smaller venue, it can get a bit snug when the crowds roll in, plus waits for food might test your patience. Overall, it's a solid choice for a good night out, with that 4.5 rating speaking volumes about the good times had by most, so I'd say give it a go if you're in the area, but maybe check ahead for food service to avoid any surprises.

-
Plenty of parking available, so no hassle when you're popping in for a quick drink or a meal.
-
The ambience is just charming, with a cosy feel that makes it ideal for a relaxed catch-up with mates.
Cons
-
There have been a few times when the chef wasn't around, so food options were off the table – a bit disappointing if you're set on eating.
-
It's a small spot, which can make it feel a tad cramped when it's busy, so you might want to get there early.
-
Some folks have mentioned waiting a while for their food, which could put a dampener on things if you're in a rush.

Another great little pub! The Wood-Fired pizza served outdoors is absolutely amazing. One of the best around and good value. Only issue we've had is on three occasions. There's been no chef so food was off after traveling. Other than that staff are friendly. Prices are good. Nice beer garden
Came here two years ago and can’t really remember how long we waited for our food which we enjoyed and it was a bit different and very well cooked. It’s quite a small place but we liked the ambience. We visited about the third week in May when the buttercups were out in the little fields in front of it
We arrived thinking we would join in the Easter activities but didn't realise we had to book before hand. Lucky for us, the event was canceled and my children could play in their teepee anyway. They were also starting up their pizza oven and giving out free samples so we were able to try that too. The kids were also given a free Easter egg which was so lovely.
Our first experience will be a tough one to beat.
We have just got back from our first meal here. It was fantastic. Great customer service. Big outside area. Dogs allowed. Comfy chairs. Food was so yummy. Home made chips, onion rings and yorkshire pudding. Definately will be going again. Plenty of parking available
We've been meaning to come here for a bite to eat for a long while and we're glad we did! The pub has a lovely ambience about it and the food was absolutely perfect, we went in for lunch and there was an offer for 2 courses for £10, we both had this and didn't regret it, starter and main were presented impeccably and tasted amazing. The beer was good and the staff were friendly. We will definitely come back on an evening and try something off the main menu which looks excellent. Overall an absolutely faultless meal, really enjoyed it and will 100% be back!!
