About This Pub
Ah, the Hollywood Arms – it's such a delightful find in the heart of Chelsea, isn't it? From what I've gathered, it's all about that classic British pub experience with a touch of elegance, serving up seasonal grub, cracking cocktails, and even a fun quiz night on Sundays that could win you a bar tab. The food really steals the show; think mouthwatering Sunday roasts and perfectly cooked fish and chips that folks are buzzing about. It's especially ace for gatherings – whether it's a wedding reception or a birthday bash, the space has this airy private room with its own bar, and the team seems to go the extra mile to make sure everything runs smoothly, just like in those glowing reviews from couples who've celebrated there. The decor's a nice mix of modern and vintage, with plenty of natural light flooding in, making it feel warm and inviting for a lazy weekend or a lively Friday night. On the downside, a few have mentioned the service can be a bit sluggish when it's hectic, so if you're nipping in for a swift meal, it might not be the speediest option – but hey, sometimes that's the trade-off for a proper sit-down affair. All in all, it's a solid choice for anyone wanting a relaxed, sociable spot in London, as long as you're not in a massive rush.
Pros and Cons
Pros

The food is absolutely top-notch, especially their Sunday roasts – one reviewer raved about it being one of the best meals they've ever had, and it's spot on for a proper British treat.
-
It's a brilliant spot for special occasions like weddings or parties; the team really pulls out all the stops with professional service and a welcoming atmosphere that makes everything feel just right.
-
The vibe is lovely, with quirky decor and a gin lounge inspired by English country estates – perfect for enjoying cocktails, quizzes, or a relaxed catch-up with friends.
-
Staff are friendly and efficient in a busy setting, handling events with a real can-do attitude that leaves you feeling looked after.
Cons
-
Service can be a tad slow at times; one person mentioned waiting over an hour for food, which might put a dampener on things if you're in a hurry.
-
It might not suit everyone if you're after a quick pint and bite, as the pace can drag on busy days.

Absolutely cracking Sunday roast. One of the best meals I have ever eaten. Will definitely be back!
Following our wedding ceremony at Chelsea Old Town Hall we continued the celebrations at Hollywood Arms with 45 of our closest family and friends. Everything was perfect and we could not have asked for more from Tringa and her team.
Every question or request we had in the lead up was answered quickly making the whole process stress free and enjoyable.
The boulevard bar was set up beautifully for us and so many of our guests commented on how wonderful it looked.
The set menu offered four great choices of starter, main and dessert and everyone said how delicious their meals were. The majority of our guests opted for steak for their main which were all cooked to perfection!
Another huge thank you to Tringa and the whole team for making our day so wonderful. See you all soon, Lily & Charlie x
Nice pub, food was good, service was friendly, but so slow. It took over 1 hour for our food to come and another 45 min for dessert. Good to try if you have lots of time to spare.
We celebrated our wedding reception at the Hollywood Arms. It was incredible. Everything was perfect. Stella and the team are so professional. The food was so tasty, the environment was everything we could have asked for. We provided them with table decor and they did a fantastic job at setting it all up. They have a really nice relaxed approach to everything and were always very accommodating to last minute changes. I fully recommend hosting any even here!
Divine food, decor is really pleasant. Serving in such a busy environment with fast and kind professional attitude is something every venue should offer, felt really lucky to here. We had fish and chips and the cod, perfectly cooked and well presented, the sauces coming with the fish amazed us, curry sauce has been the real surprise. Drinks are not second to the food , we got suggested the pic poul wich paired perfectly with the dishes. Service offered from Andrea was really nice and helpful.
I can't wait to come back
