About This Pub
Ah, Haymarket Belfast – what a gem in the heart of the city! I've got to say, it's one of those places that really knows how to get a crowd going with its mix of indoor and outdoor vibes, where you can kick back with mates over some cracking cocktails and beers. The interactive games like darts and that simulated shooting range are just brilliant for adding a bit of excitement to the night, and from what I've heard from others, the staff go above and beyond to make sure you're having a whale of a time. The food's generally a winner too, with street eats and pizzas that folks rave about, making it ideal for celebrations or a casual catch-up. But, let's be straight, it's not all perfect – a couple of reviews pointed out that the grub can sometimes feel a tad basic, like something from the canteen, and those bottomless brunches might not pack the punch you hope for with drinks that are a bit light on the alcohol. Plus, if you're popping in during the colder months, that courtyard can be a bit nippy, so it's worth planning ahead. Overall, though, it's a solid choice for a memorable evening out, as long as you go in with realistic expectations and focus on the fun bits.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The atmosphere is absolutely buzzing, with a fantastic indoor/outdoor setup that's perfect for a fun night out in Belfast city centre.
-
Drinks are a highlight – think great cocktails and beers, especially with those clever price crashes at the Stock Exchange bar.
-
Staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure everyone has a good time, as mentioned in several reviews.
-
Loads of entertainment options like interactive darts, shuffleboard, and even a simulated shooting range, which add a real competitive edge to your visit.
-
The food gets plenty of praise, with tasty street food and pizzas that hit the spot, and it's a top spot for group events or bottomless brunches.
Cons
-
Some folks have found the food a bit underwhelming, like it reminds them of school dinners, so it might not live up to expectations every time.
-
Drinks in certain deals, such as the bottomless brunch, can be on the weak side with not much alcohol, leaving you feeling short-changed.
-
It can get quite chilly in the courtyard during the winter months, so you might need to wrap up warm to fully enjoy it.
-
A few have mentioned it's not always worth the price, especially if you're after a more substantial meal or stronger drinks for what you're paying.

Went for bottomless brunch as a part of a birthday group. Service was good but that was the only thing really. Food reminded me of a school dinner. Then jugs did taste good but very little alcohol. Had 3 of them and I was just as sober as when I entered. Don't think the brunch was worth the price.
Yesterday we attended bottomless brunch in the Haymarket for a Hen Party. Staff were absolutely amazing! 5star service. Huge shout out to Ben, Louis and Lois for being fantastic servers and making sure we were all having a great time and that we always had a full glass. Music was amazing and we all really enjoyed our food, slight delay on the food arriving but we fully understood as the venue was very busy.
Highly recommend and we will be returning 😀
Really enjoyed my experience at haymarket. We didn’t spend a long time as we did have things to do after but our time here was super fun. We really enjoyed the food and the drinks are served quickly. I loved the stock idea for the prices of drinks it makes it a more fun experience. There is games you can play which is brilliant! The women’s bathrooms is hilarious you can press a button for a disco which is surprising. Would definitely come back to see the atmosphere over the weekend.
Absolutely loved it in here on a busy Saturday. Drinks flowing, great cocktails, friendly staff, excellent musician and fantastic atmosphere. This is a bit chilly as a covered courtyard so wrap up warm if visiting in the winter months. Also book a table as it is packed.
This place is basically an alleyway I think? Covered over by some sort of tent thing?
But hey, it is great.
Excellent atmosphere, great selection of beers.
Staff are really friendly.
The menu is basic but the food is fantastic.
Pizzas are delicious, the photo does not do it justice, they look like they are out of the freezer, they are not,
The spicy Italian was so good.
Sweet and spicy stack loaded fries (chicken red pepper, spring onions and chipotle sauce) are easily the star of the show!
Soo good.
Eat, drink or be merry, or do all 3!
Highly recommended!
