About This Pub
Ah, The Norman Warrior in Lowestoft – it's one of those pubs that really captures that classic British charm, you know? I've heard from a few mates that it's got this warm, traditional feel with a nice beer garden and plenty of space for parking, making it dead easy to pop in after a walk. The food's a highlight too; think hearty Sunday roasts, a banging full English, and even some tasty pizzas that hit the spot. And let's not forget the beers – the real ale is always spot on, kept in great condition for a proper pint. Plus, with pool tables and a dart board, it's brilliant for a casual night out with friends. But, and I say this with a bit of honesty, it's not all roses. Some folks have mentioned it's a bit grubby in spots, needing a thorough clean to keep things fresh. Then there's the odd tale of staff knocking back drinks while on the job, which feels a tad unprofessional and can make the place less welcoming. Oh, and it's been chilly inside at times, with rude bar staff adding to the woes – not what you'd hope for on a cold evening. Overall, it's worth a visit if you're in the area and fancy a traditional spot, but maybe go in with your eyes open and check it out for yourself first.

pub is filthy and needs a good deep clean.
staff were drinking on shift and especially from someone who works behind a bar this is highly unprofessional. unpleasant place to be. will not be returning it was a lovely place 3 years ago.
A really lovely pub. It’s well situated with ample parking, has a beer garden and the food is lovely, simple & easy but made with care, being the new local it’s a nice walk to and from and worth it just to pop in for a drink or some home comfort food.
It’s a very quaint traditional pub, but friendly staff, food is lovely and fab prices. It has two pool tables, dart board and a couple of games machines so more than enough, it’s usually busy around the afternoon early evening but before or after that you could comfortably sit and work/ eat/ relax etc.
There is also a small book area where you can exchange books and I understand they have events throughout the year so will come back and update when I’ve experienced these. Put it this way, your Grandma would be happy and I can recommend the spotted duck dessert!
One of the only proper pubs you'll find just outside of Oulton Broad. A really tasty full English breakfast and I've had a great Sunday roast here too.
Great beers, nice staff and pool tables and a dart board.
Went in today it's minus one outside, there was a gentleman at the bar in gloves. Everone else sat in full winter coats. No radiators on, rude barstaff. One pound for a game of pool but only junior sized pool cues out of the eight to choose from. 0/10 would not recommend.
The real ale, as always, was well kept and in top condition. The pub was busy with a nice atmosphere. I tried one of the pizzas from the menu. This is a new range so the first time I had one. I tried the Ham and Shroom. Really delicious and highly recommended. Most enjoyable evening.
