About This Pub
Ah, Fealty's Bar – it's one of those places that really stands out in Bangor, with a solid 4.7 rating from heaps of reviews, so you know it's generally a winner. I reckon it's spot on for anyone after a top-quality pint; the Guinness gets endless praise for being served just right, and they've got a great lineup of other drinks like ciders and whiskies to keep things interesting. The staff sound like absolute stars, always up for a laugh and making sure everyone feels welcome, which is just what you want on a night out with friends. It's got that genuine pub charm too, buzzing with energy during events like rugby matches, where the atmosphere really comes alive. But, let's be honest, it's not all rosy – there was that unfortunate incident where a group got turned away, which must have been a real downer, and a few mentions of vaping inside that might put some off if you're after a cleaner spot. Still, with most reviews singing its praises, I'd say it's worth popping in for a go, just keep those little niggles in mind so you can make the most of it.

Cons
-
There have been a few grumbles about groups being turned away, like one case where a lively bunch was refused service, which could leave a sour taste.

Some have mentioned vaping inside the bar, which feels a bit off-putting and might spoil the experience for those wanting a smoke-free space.
-
The operating hours seem a tad confusing from the listings, so it might be worth double-checking to avoid any disappointment on arrival.

Ridiculous!!! Wouldn’t service as we entered happy and lively. Refused to service us as we “had too many” as a group of 9 people we had entered after having visited two other pubs. Owner mark refused to serve us. Shame on him. Lost good customers. Shame on owner.
You have to try the Guinness, especially the warm version, one of the best you'll ever have!
Fealtys gets 3 stars as I didn’t have any food, the service was excellent however the atmosphere was a bit off putting as customers are allowed to vape in the bar. I am not sure whether they are actually allowed to vape but as they were doing in front of the bar staff I have to assume they are. Otherwise nice little bar with good selection of beers.
Favourite bar , great atmosphere and service. This place is a traditional pub, with the greatest pint of Guinness you will get anywhere. Excellent selection of cider, craft beers, gin and whiskey.
This is my local and wouldn't go anywhere else, no ego's or nonsense, just a great bar with lots of sport and live music
Superb pub, superb staff and even better pints of Guinness. Seriously can't knock it. It got packed for the rugby and had a great atmosphere.
