About This Pub

You know, after checking out the Ellesmere Port Conservative Club, I'd say it's got that genuine community spirit that's hard to beat – think affordable beers and a solid atmosphere where you can just kick back and enjoy yourself. It's brilliant for a game of darts or snooker, and they've even got things like a youth club upstairs, which is ace if you're looking to get the little ones involved in something fun and social. The staff are dead welcoming, and it's a lovely spot for birthdays or casual get-togethers with a well-stocked bar to boot. On the flip side, it might take a moment to locate if you're not a local, and parking can be a right pain when it's heaving, so it's worth planning ahead. All in all, it's a cracking little place that does the basics well, but with a few niggles that keep it from being perfect – still, I'd recommend giving it a go for a proper, down-to-earth evening.

Cons

Hard to find if not familiar with area. Beers ok with plenty of choice. One of the few places that still sells mild beer. Darts, dominoes and snooker.

Great venue for darts upstairs. New Youth club started upstairs on a Monday evening, this is great to take your kids too if you want them to get involved and learn the game. The people that run the darts are all DBS checked and are lovely people that just want to help the local kids in the community have somewhere safe to hang out and play darts, and who knows, maybe take it on as a profession in years to come. The future World Champion has to start somewhere.

Lovely little venue ideal for kids birthday parties. Staff were very friendly and the bar was well stocked with a variety of different drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. The only downside is the parking spaces and potentially lack of if hosting a fair amount of people.
