About This Pub
Ah, let me tell you about CREM Kitchen – it's one of those hidden gems in Romford that really hits the mark for a proper meal out. Run by the talented Chef Megha Arora, who's trained at places like Cordon Bleu and worked in Michelin-starred spots, the menu brings together clean, healthy dishes from around the world with that comforting home-cooked vibe mixed with a touch of sophistication. From what I've gathered from the reviews, folks are raving about the tasty, generous portions and how everything's presented so beautifully – it's not just a meal, it's an experience. The lake views from Raphael's Park add a lovely, serene backdrop, making it ideal for everything from a quick coffee to a special celebration. The service stands out too; it's warm and attentive, with the team making you feel right at ease, which really elevates the whole visit. On the downside, if you're popping over by car, you'll have to sort out parking in the nearby park lot, as there's none on the premises, and it's a bit of a closed shop on Mondays, so do check that beforehand. All in all, it's a cracking choice for anyone after good, honest food in a welcoming setting – I'd say give it a go if you're in the area, but just plan around those little niggles for the best time.

It's in a brilliant location, just a short walk from the station, and they focus on ethical practices like supporting local businesses and promoting healthy, sustainable options.
Cons
-
There's no parking on site, so you'll need to head to the park's car park across the road, which might be a bit inconvenient if you're driving.
-
It's closed on Mondays (except for Bank Holidays), which could be a shame if that's your preferred day for a outing.

Amazing atmosphere and incredibly delicious food. The service from Meg and her was so welcoming and it feels like a home from home with food that is perfectly well thought out and beautifully presented. The menu is globally inspired but feels authentic while unique in the execution. Great beers on tap and the wine list is perfectly selected
Absolutely lovely evening for a date night, a restaurant we never knew existed but was pleasantly surprised by the food and the service.
They made every effort to ensure we had a nice table and we were very happy.
Good views and a nice environment. Would recommend 100%. And again the food was genuinely spectacular, thank you to Meg who was fantastic throughout the evening. 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Great place to dine. Food was great. Staff were really nice and friendly. The restaurant has lovely views of the lake across.
No parking on premises for guests but guests are directed to the car park for the Park across the road.
Crem Kitchen
Today we enjoyed a fabulous lunch at Crem Kitchen. This restaurant is at the entrance to Raphael’s Park and overlooks the lake. It is a great place for a coffee , a drink , a quick lunch and also Private Events.
When we arrived we received a delightful welcome from the team before being seated at our table. Once settled it was nice of owner Megha to come over for nice chat. The restaurant had recently undergone a refurbishment and I have to say it did look much more stylish.
We then ordered a drink while we looked at the menu which has a very good variety of cuisine from Korean , Chinese , Indian , fish , steaks , burgers , dessert and a Roast on Sundays.
We started by ordering a few dishes from the Small Plates including Korean Chicken Wings which were delicious , the heavenly Keema Bao Buns and the Sichuan Spicy Pork Dumplings. For our main courses we went for the Pork Belly Sunday Roast and the New Lamb Chops with garlic mash , broccoli and chimichurri which was an absolute delight.
I then enjoyed the Salted Caramel and Chocolate Brownie that was sweet and chocolate heaven as was the vanilla ice cream.
We finished with a coffee to bring our lunch to an end. I would definitely recommend a visit to Crem Kitchen because for one the food is great , the staff are very friendly and it’s a great place for couples , families and private parties. They also have a lovely terrace so when the sun does come out you can enjoy outside dining overlooking the lake.
Thank You Megha and all the team for a fantastic lunch and look forward to seeing you all again soon.
Had Christmas Day dinner here and it did not disappoint. The food was tasty, portion size was generous and presentation was 10/10, the staff were friendly and attentive and even the management/owners came over to wish us a merry Christmas and thanked us for coming. Really nice venue with great lighting and atmosphere. Highly recommended.
