About This Pub

Ah, Cinnabar – it's one of those places that just hits the spot for a good old pub outing in Stevenage. From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, the food is a real winner; think scrumptious breakfasts and brunches that leave you satisfied, with plenty of options for different tastes and dietary preferences, all served up quickly and with a genuine smile from the team. The staff really shine through in the reviews, always ready to lend a hand or make you feel welcome, even when it's heaving with folks. Events like drag bingo or birthday bashes sound like absolute belters, with a fun, energetic vibe that keeps everyone coming back. On the flip side, though, the operating hours seem a tad muddled, so you might want to confirm before heading out to avoid any mix-ups. Plus, with it getting so popular, snagging a table without booking could be hit or miss, and that website glitch means it's not the easiest to get all the details online. All in all, it's a solid choice for a bite and a bevvy, offering great value and a warm welcome, but just keep those little niggles in mind for a smoother visit.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The food is absolutely spot on – from hearty full English breakfasts to fresh options like salmon and avocado, it's all delicious and caters to various dietary needs like gluten-free and vegetarian.
  • The staff are brilliant; they're welcoming, quick to help, and go the extra mile, whether it's accommodating a last-minute group or sorting out special requests with a smile.
  • It's got a fantastic atmosphere, perfect for all sorts of occasions – think lively events like drag bingo or intimate birthday celebrations, with a buzzing vibe that keeps things fun.
  • Value for money is top-notch, especially for bottomless brunches or group meals, where you get generous portions and attentive service without breaking the bank.
  • The place is spotlessly clean, from the tables to the toilets, which makes for a comfortable and enjoyable visit every time.
Cons
  • The operating hours can be a bit confusing with varying schedules listed, so it's worth double-checking to avoid any disappointment if you're planning a visit.
  • There might be issues with their online presence, as the website wasn't accessible, which could make it trickier to get the latest info or book in advance.
  • It can get pretty busy, especially on Sundays or for events, so turning up without a booking might not always work out as smoothly as it did for some lucky folks.

A massive THANK YOU to Cinnabar and the staff for a truly delicious breakfast/brunch on Father's Day for 8 of us turning up without a booking. Made very welcome and accommodated without fuss on a very busy Sunday morning. Full English breakfasts , plus salmon + avocado+ egg and a gluten free / vegetarian option all on the menu. Perfect start to the day !

We had a great night at Cinnabar stevenage last night. We were there for the seven foot sisters bottomless drag bingo. Such a good night. Was a great atmosphere, food & drink was spot on. Staff were great, ready to top up drinks regularly and the seven sisters were fantastic. Very good value for money. Would highly reccomend for a great night out x

Had a big birthday there a week ago. Venue was fantastic. Staff were brilliant serving a packed party. I asked for their help twice and they were quick to help. Toilets were super clean and when a friend spilled her drink in one, it was cleaned up within a heartbeat. The food looked amazing (premium package)! I was told was it tasty but unfortunately, I didn’t manage to get any as I was busy with my friends! 🤣 Great idea to use the upstairs of Cinnabar and would highly recommend. Luke’s communication via email was second to none and Jack was in charge during the evening, he was brilliant!

Came here for a Disney themed bottomless brunch event and had a great time! I love the way they handled the bottomless element by keeping jugs of the cocktails on the table. I also appreciate that the staff called me the day before the event to discuss my request for a dairy free meal. Really made me feel like they cared about my experience!
