About This Pub

You know, if you're after a proper Lebanese meal in Hatch End, Zufa is one of those places that really stands out for all the right reasons. From what I've gathered from the reviews, the food is generally spot on – think mouth-watering flatbreads, fresh salads, and a feast of vegetarian delights that had one group of eleven raving about it. The staff go the extra mile with their warm hospitality, making sure you're looked after from start to finish, and it's all set in a cosy vibe that's ideal for a casual get-together. They've even got belly dancing and lovely drinks like that flower tea to add a bit of magic to the evening. On the flip side, it's not all smooth sailing; a couple of folks mentioned the lamb skewers being overcooked and not quite worth the price tag, which is a shame when you're expecting that authentic touch. Overall, it's a solid choice for a night out, especially if you're in the mood for something different from the usual pub fare, but I'd say keep an eye on those meat dishes and maybe go for the veggie options to play it safe. It's got that family-run feel that makes you want to come back, as long as you go in with realistic expectations.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The food is absolutely delicious, with standout dishes like the Lebanese flatbread and fresh vegetarian options that really hit the spot.
  • Service is top-notch – warm and attentive staff who make you feel right at home, just like chatting with mates over a meal.
  • It's got a cosy and charming atmosphere, perfect for a relaxed evening, and they even throw in some fun entertainment like belly dancing to liven things up.
  • A great range of drinks and options for both vegetarians and meat-eaters, so everyone's catered for without any fuss.
Cons
  • Some dishes can be hit or miss, like the lamb skewers that were overcooked and chewy in one go, which felt a bit disappointing.
  • Prices might seem a tad steep for what you get, especially if a dish doesn't quite live up to expectations – that £18 for the lamb was a bit hard to swallow.

Cheese Lebanese flatbread was very tasty. Lamb skewer was overcooked and chewy. Not worth the £18.00 being charged.

A Lovely Lebanese Dining Experience at Zufa, Hatch End My wife and I had a truly lovely evening at Zufa in Hatch End. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and excellent service from Georges, who looked after us throughout the meal with genuine care and great recommendations. We started with a variety of mezze that were both flavourful and beautifully presented. The Moutabbal (Baba Ghannouj) was a highlight – creamy and smoky, made from aubergines blended with tahini, lemon juice, and garlic. It was perfectly smooth and paired wonderfully with fresh bread. Next came the Spicy Potatoes, which were sautéed to a crispy finish and seasoned with fresh coriander, peppers, and onions. They had just the right balance of heat and flavour. The Hommos Awarma was another standout. This take on classic hommos was luxuriously smooth, topped with tender cubes of diced lamb. The richness of the tahini and the zing of lemon brought it all together. We also had the Sojok – pan-fried spicy lamb sausages served in a light tomato and lemon sauce. The spices were bold without being overwhelming, and the meat was juicy and satisfying. For mains, we shared the Zufa Mixed Grill, which offered a generous selection of grilled meats including lamb cutlets, chicken and lamb shawarma, kafta, and jawaneh (chicken wings). Everything was well-seasoned and grilled to perfection, capturing that signature charred, smoky flavour. We chose vermicelli rice and lamb rice as sides – both were aromatic, fluffy, and complemented the meats beautifully. To finish, Georges recommended the Knafeh for dessert – a warm dish made with sweet semolina and melted cheese, soaked in syrup. It was rich, comforting, and the perfect end to our meal. Overall, Zufa delivered a fantastic dining experience with high-quality food, generous portions, and outstanding service. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting – ideal for a date night or a casual evening out. A special thanks to Georges for making our visit extra memorable.

A really nice Lebanese family resturant on Hatch End high street. The family went for a Sunday brunch and the vegetarian food was very fresh and tasty. We ordered the whole of the vegetarian options (11 of us) and had a feast. My fav were the falafel bowls and the special salad

We went on a Saturday evening and had a fantastic time, every single dish we tried was delicious, there was a great range of options for vegetarians and non veg. They also had a belly dancer which was a nice entertainment touch. The drinks were incredible especially the flower tea at the end. We opted for a dessert recommended by the manager and were super impressed- if anything, we will be back for that.

Zufa offers a cosy and charming atmosphere for Lebanese food lovers. Located in Northwood & Hatch End. @zufa.restaurants began its journey in 1990 in Tannourine, a beautiful village in North Lebanon. It quickly became one of the most loved restaurants in the area. Continuing the family legacy, the next generation brought their love for Lebanese cuisine to London. ⭐𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰: We really enjoyed everything we ordered. The food was absolutely delicious, bursting with amazing flavours! My favourite dish was the halloumi! 😍The Zufa Salad 🥗 was incredibly fresh and tasty as well. The cocktails are 10/10 - you have to try their festive cocktail! I absolutely loved it✨🎄 The menu has a lot of variety including Halal & vegetarian options 🌱The staff are so friendly and attentive. A special thank you to Diana who gave some great recommendations! 🥰 ✨ Zufa Restaurant is a must visit spot for date night or a cosy evening with friends ✨
