About This Pub

Ah, Dojo Restaurant in Pinner – it's one of those places that really stands out for its Pan Asian offerings, and I've got to say, it's got a lot going for it based on what folks are saying. Picture this: you're tucking into some seriously good food, like that Thai green curry or sweetcorn prawns that reviewers rave about, all in a setting that's chic and cozy with a modern twist on Asian vibes. It's clear the team puts heart into making every meal feel special, and the staff sound like absolute stars, always making sure you're well looked after. That high rating of 4.7 is no fluke – it's a go-to for groups or celebrations, where the energy just lifts the whole experience. But, let's keep it real, it's not perfect; it can get a bit too buzzy at times, which might put a damper on if you're hoping for a proper chinwag over dinner. Plus, some bits like certain cocktails or spice levels haven't clicked for everyone, and it might take a visit or two to find your favourites. All in all, if you're up for a fun, flavorful night out, Dojo's worth a punt – just go in with an open mind and you'll likely have a brilliant time.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The food is absolutely top-notch, with a fantastic selection of Pan Asian dishes that really hit the spot – think delicious Thai green curry and sweetcorn prawns that keep you coming back for more.
  • The atmosphere is spot on, blending modern sophistication with a cozy Asian charm, making it perfect for a lively night out or celebrating with mates.
  • The staff are brilliant and attentive, always on hand to ensure everything runs smoothly and your experience feels personal and welcoming.
  • It's ideal for groups or special occasions, with a great layout that suits larger gatherings and adds to the fun vibe.
Cons
  • It can get a bit noisy, especially with big groups, so if you're after a quiet catch-up, it might not be the best spot and could make conversations tricky.
  • Some dishes might not quite live up to expectations, like certain cocktails or desserts that have been a letdown for a few, or if you're sensitive to spice, it could be a challenge.
  • Experiences can vary; while it's improved over time, your first visit might not be amazing, so it's worth checking recent feedback before booking.

What a wonderful evening we had here! Such a fantastic vibe, the music, the setting, the layout was all on point! From decor to food, AMAZING! We loved the sweetcorn prawns and the Thai green curry, we don’t usually enjoy tofu but it was great here! Two birthdays were celebrated whilst we were there and it was so lively! They have a great garden area too which is so great for the summer! All in all, loved the place, loved the food, will be back!

Dojo will either be the best place you’ve been to in a while, or it will be not for you at all. If you have a large group of noisy friend or family it will suit you well. The large horse-shoe shaped bench type tables are ideal. If in are looking to actually hear the person next to you and have a quite dinner Dojo is absolutely not for you. The decibel count is highest in the main long entrance room. In the extension it’s slightly lower. Marmite - ‘love it or hate it’ comes to mind. As for food it’s well prepared with a wonderful eclectic range to choose from. The team are delightful. So it all depends on of what you are looking for but now you know.

A nice change of cuisine to the area. We only had the bites and desserts during our first visit, and while it wasn't amazing, it was still enjoyable with decent portion sizes. The hot chocolate volcano and cocktails were a bit of a letdown, though. Since then, there's been an improvement in both the service and the food. The dishes were more refined, and the staff seemed better organised even when it's been busy. The venue is still lovely and vibrant, and the overall experience has definitely elevated.

If you’re a foodie like me, you’ll love this place! The menu has a fantastic selection of dishes, and we loved everything we tried. We only had good comments about the food. I can’t wait to come back again! Keith looked after us very nicely.  The staff was attentive, ensuring everything was perfect without being overbearing.

Impromptu decision to eat out on a Wednesday led to this experience. It was really fantastic meal. Last time I found the food too spicy for my liking so we made it abundantly clear as this being a no no! They delivered fantastic vegetarian (some gluten free) spread which was really tasty. My fav was something off the menu - stir fried veggies with tofu - rather simple but packed with freshness. The spring roll filled with chocolate and served with vegan ice cream was also exceptional. We will be back. PS - the booth we sat at had a speaker blasting music which was a little too loud for conversation!
