About This Pub
Ah, Yarrow Bridge – it's one of those pubs in Chorley that really pulls you in with its lively, family-oriented atmosphere, especially if you're keen on watching the big games like the Women's Euros or rugby tours; they've got all the sports channels sorted, and it's just the ticket for a casual get-together. The staff are an absolute delight, always cheerful and ready to lend a hand, which makes the place feel warm and inviting. Plus, being dog-friendly both inside and out means you can bring the pup along for a sunny afternoon in the beer garden. On the food front, when it's good, it's genuinely enjoyable – think flame-grilled flavours that hit the spot for a hearty meal. But, let's be honest, it's not perfect; there have been times when the grub falls short, like with wilted salads or portions that don't quite measure up, and you might face a wait that stretches longer than expected, particularly if the app decides to play up. Prices can sting a bit for what you get, so it's worth keeping that in mind if you're after a bargain. Overall, it's a solid choice for a relaxed night out, as long as you go in with realistic expectations and maybe plan around the busier times – I'd say give it a try if you're in the area, and you'll likely have a good laugh despite the minor niggles.
Pros and Cons

-
Family-friendly vibe with a nice beer garden, ideal for a relaxed catch-up or treating the kids to some decent eats.
Cons
-
Food quality can be hit or miss – some dishes might arrive a bit underwhelming, like a dry salad or skimpy portions on things like bacon in a burger.
-
Wait times for food and service can drag on, especially during busy spells, which might put a dampener on your evening.
-
The app for ordering has a few glitches, so you might end up queuing at the bar instead, which isn't always convenient.
-
Prices feel a tad high for what's on offer at times, leaving you wondering if it quite lives up to the cost.

Great team, always jolly and smiley and happy to help. Considering it’s a busy food place offers a tremendous local pub vibe
My family and I visited this evening around 615pm. I was told we had a wait of around 30-40 minutes for the food which was fine.
Kid’s salad came - was shrivelled and dry. Some awful past-it’s-best lettuce with a few carrots. Sent back received fresher replacement.
Medium-well sirloin steak still bleeding. Sent back and returned some time later after everyone had nearly finished dried up. Very poor.
In no rush to visit again any time soon.
Food very tasty, small wait to get severed as at the time limited numbers on the bar. App has slight ordering issues so had to go to the bar. Will visit again as both times recently food was very good.
Called for a drink was nice 👌 sat outside in the sunshine dog friendly both outside and inside dog friendly area to the right as you walk through main doors
Average food, high prices and absolutely shocking excuse for bacon on a burger. Two of us had the smallest sliver of Bacon. Unsure how the chefs thought that was acceptable.
