About This Pub
Ah, Wrexham Cwtch – it's one of those local gems that really captures the heart of a traditional pub, isn't it? From what I've gathered, the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome, chatting away and ensuring you're settled in, which is just what you want after a long day. The drinks are a highlight too; they're reasonably priced with some cracking offers that won't break the bank, and paired with the live sports on big screens, it's perfect for catching the match with mates. That pool table adds a fun touch for a bit of friendly competition. On the flip side, though, the toilets being all the way upstairs can be a bit of a nuisance if you're not feeling agile, and if you pop in during a rush, you might have to queue for your round, which can dampen the fun a tad. Plus, it can feel a bit empty at quieter times, missing that full-on pub energy. All in all, it's a solid choice for a casual night out in Wrexham – worth a visit for the good vibes and value, but keep those little niggles in mind to manage your expectations.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The staff are absolutely brilliant – always up for a chat and make you feel right at home, just like that friendly barman in the reviews.
-
You've got a cracking selection of drinks at decent prices, with some great value offers that make it easy on the wallet.
-
It's a top spot for catching live sports on HD screens, whether it's football, rugby, or the horses, and there's even a pool table to keep things lively.
-
The atmosphere can be spot on during events, like when it's packed for rugby, creating that proper community pub vibe.
Cons
-
The toilets are a bit of a mission, tucked away upstairs, which can be a trek if you're not up for the stairs.
-
It might take a minute or two to get served when things get busy, as the staff are flat out trying to keep up.
-
Sometimes it's a tad quiet, especially early in the evening, so the buzz isn't always there if you're after a lively crowd.

Cracking pint and a great barman willing to chat and make you feel at home. But empty but I visited early in the evening. Recommend a visit, decent prices too
Nice pub. Great service however the toilets were a bit of a trek upstairs. The hot water was SCALDING be careful lol
We visited midweek and had a great experience. Food and drink were very good value and great quality. We were the only ones in there and our three year old loved the colouring sheets and the food. Conrad was very helpful and accommodating along with his Manager, Amy. If we weren't tourists, we'd definitely be repeat visitors.
Watched the rugby, place was packed fab atmosphere. Bit of a wait for drinks but staff very busy and barman had good grasp of who was next for serving. Some people had bar snacks which looked good.
Good pub, different beers on offer and it's quite nice in side. Only eaten here a few times and it's OK. The toilets are a hike and a half :).
