You know, I had a wander into the Wootton Club the other week, and it's got this real homely feel to it, right in the heart of the village. The prices are dead reasonable – you can grab a drink without worrying about the wallet, and they've kicked off these brilliant Sunday roasts that are generous and tasty, from what I've heard from mates who've tried them. The staff are proper welcoming, and it's nice to see it's so inclusive, even for families and their furry companions. On the downside, it can get a bit nippy inside if the heating isn't on, and that membership lark can be a pain if you're just popping in for a quick one – you might end up queuing or heading elsewhere. All in all, it's a solid choice for a relaxed evening with friends, but I'd say it's best if you're local or willing to sign up to get the full experience.

Brilliant working men's club. Staff are really good, club is spacious and clean. Members are friendly and hospitable. Nice place to go and get a cheap drink and have a laugh too

Came from London visiting my friend and I had a great time. My dog Rocco and I felt warmed and welcomed.
We went to a party there lovely little room, only downside was you couldn't buy drinks from the other bar unless you were a member, which made the wait to be serve quite long.

Most working men's have prices for members and non members to stay in business nowadays.
No problem though, took my money to the Yeoman down the road
