About This Pub
Ah, Willow Farm, what a lovely little find in Cramlington! I have to say, it's one of those places that really warms you up with its welcoming vibe, especially if you're out with the family. The carvery is an absolute treat – think juicy roasts, crispy potatoes, and all the trimmings that make you feel right at home. There's such a wide range of dishes on the menu, from hearty mains to indulgent desserts, and it's all at prices that won't leave you shocked when the bill comes. Plus, the facilities are top-notch, with easy access and extras like parking that make popping in a breeze. On the flip side, though, I've heard from a few mates that service can drag on a bit, like waiting ages for your food to show up, which might put a dampener on things if you're in a rush. And watch out for those times when they close early for staff dos; it happened to someone I know, and it was a bit of a letdown. All in all, it's a great shout for a casual meal, but maybe plan ahead and go with low expectations for speed – that way, you're in for a pleasant surprise!

Good restaurant with a recently renovated kids play area to occupy the young ones.
Theres plenty of choice on the menu for adults and children, loads of deserts and ice creams to choose from and the carvery is tasty.
Easily accessible for those with restricted mobility and are very helpful with allergy’s.
I've been to Willow Farm quite a few times, it's usually ok. But tonight 13th May, my partner and I travelled from Consett to go for dinner, but upon arriving just before 7pm, we saw this notice saying last orders for food is at 7pm, not later than that due to staff training. We have been told if we had looked on facebook etc we would have known about the closure, I dont look on the internet everytime I go out. Why cant they do staff training when it's actually closed or early morning not at a busy dinner time, I expect they wont pay staff extra money to come in early. What a wasted trip! Not happy at all!
Went for lunch last week at the Willow Farm, was greeted by a lovely server called Lucy, we hadn't booked, this was no problem and she soon showed us to our table and explained how to order from the main menu and how the carvery worked. The menu has a wide choice. We ordered food and at the bar and the meals arrived very quickly and portions were on the large side. Lucy checked on us to make sure everything was ok and after we finished she asked if we wanted desserts which we declined. The plates were cleared promptly which was nice as we sat and finished off our drinks. Overall a great experience with excellent service.
Today we visited for our Christmas lunch for the second year running. As usual, everything was top notch. Couldn't fault our experience and are already planning on going back in the new year to book for next year's Christmas lunch.
Fantastic new play area for the kids as well after being recently refurbished. So much better than it was previously and I would argue that it's a much safer and stimulating environment for kids of all ages.
A special shout out to the management team who were fantastic, even when another customer took ill and required medical attention from paramedics and a trip to hospital they were on hand to assist and support those involved.
Our sincere well wishes and sympathy to the poor lady who took ill and wish her a speedy recovery from the Henderson household.
Annual Christmas meal with the family, 6 adults & a child, slow service 30 mins to ask if we were ready for our starter.Told the mains were almost ready so the 3 having carverys got there's, we'd almost finished so my husband went to ask where there's were. No one asked if our meals were ok which luckily they were apart from the childs very disappointing. We visit Willow farm on a regular basis and felt rather let down with this experience especially when we were treating the family to a Christmas getogether.
