About This Pub
Ah, Moor Farm Beefeater – it's one of those reliable spots that just hits the mark for a casual night out. From what I've gathered from folks' experiences, the staff really shine through; they're efficient and genuinely cheerful, like that server James who got rave reviews for his polite manner and real smiles. The food's a winner too – imagine tucking into a juicy rump steak with those triple-cooked chips, or grabbing a lunch deal with classics like smothered chicken or a plant burger, all for under £8. It's clean and spacious, which makes it great for groups or a quiet meal, and the drinks menu, with its summer specials and cocktail offers, adds a nice touch to round off the evening. On the flip side, I've heard it's possibly closed at the moment, which would be a shame, and as a chain pub, it might not have that quirky, one-of-a-kind feel some of us love in our local haunts. Still, if you're after dependable quality and a bit of value, it's worth keeping an eye on – just make sure to check the details first so you don't end up wandering about!
Pros and Cons

-
It's a clean and spacious spot, ideal for a relaxed evening or a quick bite, with plenty of room to unwind.
-
They've got a cracking selection of drinks, including summer cocktails and deals like two for £12, which really add to the fun.
Cons
-
The operating status is a bit unclear right now, as it seems like it might be closed – definitely worth double-checking before heading over to avoid disappointment.
-
Being part of a chain, it can feel a tad generic at times, missing that unique local vibe you sometimes get with independent pubs.
-
There's no specific info on opening hours, which could make planning a visit a bit of a hassle if you're not sure when it's open.

Nice clean environment, staff are very friendly and efficient. Food was tasty and beer was good. What more do you need.
Stayed at the Premier Inn next door. Used the Beefeater for evening meal. Standard set up, clean with plenty of space. Fairly quiet. Service from James was excellent. Polite, efficient and with a genuine smile 😁
Good value food and the cocktail deal was well worth taking advantage of 👍 perfect for an overnight stay on our travels.
We came to Newcastle from Wales for a family gathering which also fell on mine and my daughter’s birthday weekend. We booked the Beefeater at Moor Farm for our evening meal and was not disappointed.
Karen was very welcoming on our arrival, she showed us to our table which had been decorated with balloons, selfie accessories and even a thank you card for choosing to celebrate with them. This was very pleasing for the children and adults alike.
Lewis promptly came to take our order and checked for any allergies. He was lovely to the children and was polite and attentive.
The food served was of good quality, the steak in particular was delicious. The food was served in good time with no errors.
My daughter and I were served a birthday cake which had kindly been supplied by our family and brought out by both Lewis and Karen who joined in with the singing and offered to serve the cake however we were all too full to eat it! To top it off, Lewis also brought to the table some sweets and a large bag of chocolate.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant to anybody looking for a good quality, good value meal. The staff are exceptional and nothing was too much trouble for them.
Thank you for helping to make our stay and our birthday celebrations so memorable.
