About This Pub
So, picture this – you're wandering around London and stumble upon the White Horse, a proper neighbourhood spot that's got that timeless pub feel without all the modern fuss. I love how the staff, like the new manager Michaela, are so friendly and welcoming; it's like they've got a knack for making everyone feel like a regular from the get-go. The food's a real highlight too, with tasty options that won't break the bank, and if you're lucky with the weather, grabbing some street food outside pairs brilliantly with a pint. Weekends bring a bit of buzz with live bands, which is brilliant for livening things up. On the downside, it can feel a tad subdued at times, and some of the wines aren't quite up to scratch, so you might want to stick to the beers if you're picky. All in all, it's a solid choice for a relaxed evening, especially if you're after that genuine local gem without the hype – I'd definitely pop in if you're nearby, but keep expectations balanced for a true-to-form pub experience.

(very important local).
Thank you so much for such a fun and amazing night! Jack's birthday celebration went better than we expected. Such a pleasure to meet friendly and charismatic individuals. We cannot wait to try the Wednesday evenings! Highly recommend this place! Thank you for the shots! Veronica, Borja and Jack

Lovely 'normal' pub, so many pubs are being turned into hipster hangouts so I'm pleased that this pub has all its original features and a great ambience. Very friendly, helpful staff. The food is also great. Would definitely recommend it. Give it a try!
A decent pub, if a little lacking in atmosphere. Some very tasty (and reasonably priced) Lebanese food served. Fairly easy to get a table which makes a nice change compared to other options nearby. Some of the wines are a bit low end eg: J.P Chenet
A nice bar that can get quite lively on weekend evenings as theres usually a decent band on.
The food is great and the choice of drinks is large. If the weathers good, you can buy some street food outside - always an nice accompaniment to some decent beer when you don't want a full meal.
