About This Pub
Ah, Vintage Claret – it's one of those pubs that really hits the mark for a casual get-together in Burnley. From the reviews, it's clear folks are chuffed with the atmosphere; it's got that cosy, welcoming buzz that makes you want to settle in for the evening. The staff come across as genuinely lovely, always up for a chat and making sure everything runs smoothly, which is just what you hope for when you're out for a pint. Prices are spot on too – nothing extravagant, so you can enjoy a few without second thoughts. And for sports lovers, it's a winner with those big screens showing all the matches, paired with some solid real ales like Taylor's Landlord that add a nice touch of quality. On the downside, it does feel a tad one-dimensional when it comes to food; most people are just raving about the drinks, so if you're after a full meal, you might end up disappointed or needing to head elsewhere. The beer selection can be a bit hit-or-miss at times, with only one cask option now and then, and it's a shame their website isn't up and running properly – makes it harder to plan a visit. All in all, it's a solid choice for a laid-back night watching the game or catching up over a drink, but keep in mind it shines brightest on the drinks and vibes rather than a broader experience.

V good micro pub on way to Turf Moor. Recently put real ale on including Taylor's Landlord
OK Burnley sports pub with lots of large TV screens (showing the US Open tennis while we were there). Only one cask beer on handpump when we visited (Timothy Taylor's Landlord).

Excellent pub with Fantastic staff. Highly recommended. They should switch from a sports bar to a family food pub though.
