About This Pub
Ah, Twisted Mule Brewery and Tap House – what a gem tucked away in Rochdale's Spotland Mill complex. From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, this place really shines with its top-notch selection of beers brewed on site; it's that fresh, local touch that makes every pint feel special, and folks are raving about the affordable prices too. The staff come across as genuinely welcoming, always up for a chat and quick to sort you out, which adds to that cosy, community feel. Plus, if you're peckish, their pizzas and garlic bread seem to hit the mark nicely, and there's even off-street parking to make getting there a breeze. It's part of this emerging hub of independent spots, which gives it a cool, vibrant edge. On the flip side, though, the live music can be a double-edged sword – it's brilliant for a lively night out, but it might get a bit overwhelming if you're after a quiet catch-up, as a few have mentioned packing up early for somewhere calmer. Overall, it's got that high 4.8 rating for a reason, so I'd say it's well worth a visit if you're in the area, just maybe time it right depending on what you're in the mood for. Cheers to keeping it real with the good and the not-so-good!

Cons
-
Live music can get a bit too loud at times, making it tough to have a proper chat and leading some to head off early.

Only open five days a week, so you might need to plan around that and check the hours in advance.
-
No website listed, which makes it a tad tricky to get the latest updates or details before popping in.

Good range of beers, four brewed on the premises, live music, unfortunately too loud for us and we were sat as far away as was possible. We did ask the bar staff if it could be turned down a bit and got a categoric NO. So we left early and went to the curry house , they were happy to have some extra money from us
A hidden gem of a pub, located within the Spotland Mill complex. Lovely friendly staff serving cask beers that are brewed on the premises. Some days have live music. They serve a variety of pizzas if you are feeling peckish. Plenty of off-street parking. Well worth a visit.
Best pint of bitter I’ve had in a long time! Change out of four quid too!
Popped in after visiting Defiance next door and was really pleased to find they now have a brewery here! The staff were friendly, there’s a great selection of ales, and they’re building a really cool hub of independent and artisan trades. Definitely will be back! Also the pizzas looked great!
