About This Pub

Ah, TripelB – what a lovely little find in Worcester for anyone who appreciates a good Belgian beer. I have to say, it's got that warm, unpretentious feel that makes you want to settle in for the afternoon, with comfy seating and just the right level of ambient music to keep things cosy without overwhelming the conversation. The beer menu is an absolute highlight; they've got this incredible array of authentic Belgian options that are a cut above the usual pub fare, and the staff are brilliant at guiding you through it all with their expertise – it's like chatting with a mate who's well-versed in all things brew. Pair that with some delicious food like fresh frites or a hearty baguette, and you've got yourself a proper gem for a relaxed outing. On the flip side, if you're not one for stronger beers, you might need to choose carefully to avoid a bit of a heady experience, and it's probably not the place if you're after something more mainstream. All in all, it's a top spot to pop into for an authentic taste of Belgium right here in the UK, and I'd definitely recommend giving it a go if you're in the area and fancy something a bit special.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • Fantastic selection of Belgian beers, with over 100 varieties including tripels, dubbels, and fruit beers that really hit the spot for any beer enthusiast.
  • Relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, perfect for a laid-back chat with friends over a pint, featuring comfy sofas and unobtrusive music.
  • Friendly and knowledgeable staff who provide attentive service and are always on hand to recommend the perfect brew or dish.
  • Tasty food options like frites, baguettes, and waffles that complement the beers beautifully, making it a great spot for a proper meal.
Cons
  • Some of the beers can be quite strong, so it's worth taking it easy if you're not used to them – might catch you off guard after a few!
  • It could feel a bit niche if you're not particularly keen on Belgian brews, as the focus is firmly on that style rather than a broader range.
  • Opening times might vary or need checking, as the schedule seems a tad inconsistent, which could lead to the odd disappointment if you're planning a visit.

Just had lunch with my wife and daughter; just great! Lovely atmosphere:slightly dimmed and candlelit Very friendly staff with attentive service A great selection of authentic Belgian beers Very tasty food. Definitely the best bacon baguette in Worcester, maybe even Worcestershire. Thanks so much; we'll be back soon. Peter & Frances Murphy and Annie O'Dell.

This is a great place for a Belgian beer in Worcester! There's a fantastic selection both on tap and also in the fridge to try, be warned, some of them are pretty strong! The atmosphere is great here with comfy sofas or smaller tables to choose from along with service from really friendly staff. They're also dog friendly which is great. Would highly recommend a visit if you're in the area and want a decent beer or food.

Having acquired a taste for Belgian beer during a trip to Brussels in January, I was amazed to find this Belgian bar while wandering the streets of Worcester on a sunny summer’s day. Authentic, amazing array of beers and the owner (I think?) was knowledgeable and welcoming. Looking forward to coming back for the Trappist weekend!
