About This Pub

Oh, let me tell you about The Botanist in Worcester – it's one of those places that really warms you up on a chilly evening or a sunny afternoon. I love how the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome, with that personal touch that turns a simple meal into a proper treat. The food's generally spot on, with fresh options that pair brilliantly with their drinks, and it's just ace that they welcome dogs, making it ideal for a casual day out. Plus, the live music on weekends adds a fun buzz that keeps things entertaining. But, and I have to be straight with you, there are times when the wait for food drags on, which can put a damper on things, especially if you're peckish. I've heard a few mates say the grub isn't always as reliable as it used to be, so it might depend on the day. All in all, it's worth popping in for the atmosphere and the good bits, but keep an eye on the service to avoid any letdowns – it's a solid choice for us pub enthusiasts looking for a balanced night out.

This was our first time in a Botanist restaurant and it will not be our last, due to the warm welcome, friendly service amd quality food and drinks. We were met at the bar where we were taken to a table at the window with a lovely view. Our server Brewma was welcoming, polite and attentive, without being a nuisance as in some places. We will definitely be back and will visit othe Botanist restaurants after this experience.

This used to be such a lovely spot that I would go to regularly but as of today I don’t think I’ll be returning. The food took immensely long to come out, we waited around 30-40 minutes whilst people that came after us already got their food. The food has also gone downhill since my last visit - not sure if it’s a menu change but it’s quite disappointing to see that a once loved place has become an option that’s off the table. The balcony itself is lovely and the drinks were fine but the tables hadn’t been wiped down and were sticky which was a shame. In my opinion, we did not get our moneys worth and it is such a shame.

1st time visiting and we weren't disappointed. Decor inside looked amazing but we sat on the terrace as it was a warm Sunday afternoon. We had to order at the bar (because we chose to sit on the terrace) but not a problem and the drinks and food arrived in good time. Staff were friendly and efficient. We all had hanging kebabs and they were delicious. Will definitely be back.

First time here for a birthday and it didn’t disappoint! The place is actually bigger than it looks on the outside, with the interior dark but lit well to create a very smooth atmosphere. Staff very attentive and responsive - no issues. The food was sublime (starters and mains), in which I’d recommend the Korean chicken starter! The hanging kebabs were beautifully presented and all relatively reasonable on cost (although you expect to pay more given the location). Great views across to the cathedral opposite, although no parking as such (although plenty of multi-storey options nearby within a 10 minute walk through the high street itself). Overall a great place for afternoon food, not pretentious in any way.

Greeted by Nico who's sense of humour had us laughing from the offset. Welcomed by daughter as we didn't know if kids were allowed, but they sure are, nice wee menu to choose from too, even if she did go for the Dirty Chicken Burger. Venue is lovely, welcoming and warm. Bruna took over, taking our orders throughout the night, whilst Nico brought food out to us, again his banter was impressive. Food! Wow tastes amazing, well cooked and presented too. Desserts were flavoursome too! Overall an excellent meal and worth every penny, an optional 10% service see is add it to your bill but you are asked if you would like to keep this on before payment. Of course! was a reply Well done to everyone, let's not forget the kitchen staff too.
