About This Pub
Ah, The Oil Basin Brewhouse – it's one of those places that just hits the spot for a good night out in Worcester. From what I've gathered from folks' experiences, it's got this fantastic array of drinks that really caters to beer enthusiasts, with guest cask ales and a solid selection of other tipples that keep things fresh and exciting. The staff are an absolute delight, always on hand with helpful advice and a warm welcome that makes you feel right at home. Plus, the outdoor seating on the high street is brilliant when the weather's playing ball, turning it into a lively hub for chats and laughter. On the flip side, it does get a tad hectic around the bar sometimes, which could put a damper on things if you're not in the mood for a crowd or a queue. Overall, though, it's a cracking venue that balances that classic pub charm with a bit of quirkiness, so if you're up for a vibrant spot with great brews, I'd say give it a go – just pick your timing wisely for a more relaxed visit.

The place has a quirky charm with its multi-floor layout, giving it that unique feel that makes it stand out from the usual spots.

It can get a bit crowded around the bar at peak times, which might make it tricky to get served or find a spot without a bit of a wait.

Choice of 4 guest cask ales on sale, plenty of seating outside on the pedestrianised high street. Can get quite busy around the bar with the counter seating and some drinkers reluctance to move.
Incredible drinks choices and superb friendly staff. A brilliant rum selection caps off a beautiful range of beers and ciders on tap. The Oil Basin always has a welcoming and happy vibe especially when the weather is good and people fill the street tables with chat and laughter.
Combined with the best pizza this side of Napoli thanks to Vinnie and his wood fired delights this is our favourite place in town.
What a great place. Decided to visit after the cinema for a drink and a catch up with friends. Great vibe, full selection of beers, and very lively on a Thursday night. Will be visiting again. Top marks.
Quirky place over a few floors, just as we like it. Good selection of beers and barman was very helpful picking me a fantastic IPA.
We had pizza at Vinni's just after Christmas, following a last-minute decision to stay in Worcester for lunch. Absolutely delighted to have stopped here, Vinnie is definitely keeping the high Italian standards with his delicious pizza and service, especially considering he was doing everything by himself, including takeaway orders. We have a coeliac daughter, so plus points for providing a gluten-free base. We'll definitely come back. We have not tried the pub area but looks promising with local beers.
