About This Pub

Ah, the Trinity Arms – it's one of those pubs that just feels like a proper local hideaway in the heart of Brixton, you know? I've got to say, from what I've gathered, it's got this warm, inviting atmosphere that's spot on for everything from a quick drink to a full meal with friends. The staff are genuinely lovely, always up for a chat and making sure you're sorted, which really adds to the charm. The food's another highlight; they've nailed the seasonal menus with fresh, locally sourced bits that include hearty pub classics, brilliant vegan options, and treats like those mini burgers and chips that folks rave about. And let's not forget that beer garden – it's an absolute delight, with a fire pit for those cooler evenings, making it the ideal place to unwind and soak up the vibes. On the flip side, it does get packed at times, so you might end up jostling for space, and the prices are a bit on the moderate side, which could add up if you're planning a big night. Plus, if you're someone who likes to linger late, the early closing hours might cut things short. All in all, though, it's a solid choice for anyone looking for a balanced spot in South London – the good far outweighs the minor niggles, and I'd happily recommend it for a proper pub experience.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The atmosphere is absolutely spot on – it's that perfect blend of cosy and lively, making it a brilliant spot for catching up with mates or enjoying a quiet pint.
  • The staff are so friendly and helpful; they really make you feel welcome, like you're part of the neighbourhood.
  • The food is a real treat, with fresh, seasonal options and some cracking choices like mini burgers, chips, and even great vegan dishes – it's all delicious and hits the spot.
  • That beer garden is a gem, especially with the fire pit; it's ideal for a sunny afternoon or a chilled evening, perfect for groups or just relaxing.
  • They've got a fantastic selection of drinks, from local beers to tasty spritzes and mulled wine, so there's something for everyone.
  • It's in a lovely, tucked-away spot in Brixton, giving you a peaceful retreat from the high street while still being conveniently close to everything.
Cons
  • It can get quite busy, especially in the beer garden, so you might have to wait for a table or deal with a bit of a crowd on popular nights.
  • With moderate prices, it might feel a tad pricey for a casual night out if you're on a tight budget, though it's worth it for the quality.
  • The opening hours wrap up fairly early in the evenings, around 11pm on some days, which could be a downside if you're after a late-night venue.

I love this pub! One of the best places in London, definitely top place in Brixton. The outside terrace is such a delight, the drinks are great and the food is delicious! Highly recommend the mini burgers & the chips in general. The staff is friendly, calm & helpful & the vibe is unmatched. Been here in summer and winter and it’s great no matter the season!

Great little pub, with a lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff. Good vegan options available, and non-alcoholic beer on tap, made this a great lunch option. I loved the tomato soup and broccoli. The plant-based burger was tasty as well. The garden was the perfect spot to sit and enjoy the day away from the hustle and bustle of Brixton.

One of the nicest bars in the entire borough, staff are exceptional. Amazing beer garden The beef-dripping popcorn and salted chicken skin scratchings are unbelievable. Really chill neighbourhood, a perfect breather away from the main drag

Had an amazing experience at Trinity Arms before the concert! The ambience was perfect for some pre-concert bonding with friends. The cute beer garden in front added that extra touch of fun and relaxation.

We came here as a group of 4 for lunch and had a pleasant experience. The place itself is very cozy and quite roomy. My favorite part was hands down the mulled wine, very delicious. We got the burger which was decent, the honey&chilli camembert was good and the onion rings surprisingly delicious. Service was friendly and polite, we even got asked by the duty manager if everything was fine.
