About This Pub
Ah, the Trafalgar Arms – it's one of those pubs that really warms your cockles, tucked away in Tooting and just a stone's throw from the high street. From what I've gathered from folks who've been, the food is a real highlight; those Sunday roasts are spot on, with hearty portions of locally sourced meats and even a cracking vegan option that keeps everyone happy. Pair that with a solid selection of beers, ciders, and cocktails, and you've got yourself a proper treat. The team behind the bar are always up for a laugh and make you feel right at home, which is brilliant for catching the big games or hosting a casual get-together. That beer garden is a gem on a nice day, offering a relaxed outdoor space, while the inside has that classic pub feel with plenty of nooks for a quiet chat. On the downside, it does fill up quickly during events, so you might end up queuing or needing to book ahead, and the prices can add up if you're not careful. All things considered, it's a solid choice for a night out in South West London – honest, it's got that mix of fun and reliability that keeps people coming back.

Cons

Prices are on the moderate side, so if you're watching your wallet, some drinks and meals might feel a bit steep for regular visits.

Came here twice while visiting London because the food & service was so good the first visit that a second visit was a no brainer. The food was delicious, with a decent sized selection to choose from and portion sizes were worthy of the cost. In addition to this, the patio is large and the ambience inside and on the patio is lovely. But what makes this place stand out is the service. Shout out to the staff here for being friendly and quick!
Great Pub with large front garden. Staff are super friendly. I was served by Danny and Dave who not only gave us a friendly welcome but also were knowledgeable and gave us great advice about what to eat and drink. Overall great service.
I just want to say a big thank you for the staff they made my birthday brunch run incredibly smooth . The professionalism was amazing from the emails to the service I couldn’t thank you all enough .

🚇 Tooting Broadway
🍺 £6.15 Pravha
The Trafalgar Arms is located at the southern end of Tooting High Street in Tooting, Southwest London. The nearest Tube is Tooting Broadway, it’s a five minute walk to get here.
This imposing high street pub was built in the 1930’s and has an wonderful ArtDeco frontage. The pub closed in July 2013 and was set for conversion to residential use. Thankfully, the pub was bought by Young's and extensively refurbished.
This is a stylish good sized pub that is bright and airy. The servery is centrally located and has two unique fireplaces. To the left is a dining area and to the right is a comfortable bar. Towards the back of the pub is a private dining area with outside space. Situated at the front of the pub is an impressive patio beer garden which is partially covered.
The beer line up is solid and offers a broad range of cask, London brews and familiar favourites. I decided on a Pravha, my pint was great, price point was a smidge above average. The food menu is classic British fayre, Fish & Chips costs £15, Roasts are available on a Sunday.
I arrived around 5pm on a warm Saturday afternoon in April. The was an upbeat buzz around the pub both inside and out. The pub was fairly busy inside and packed in the beer garden. The punters were a predominantly younger crowd outside and mixed inside. I decided to plot up in the beer garden and watch the Bournemouth v Man Utd match. The service was excellent, the fella who served me was welcoming and pleasant.
Lots of positives to report from @thetrafalgararms in Tooting. This is a gorgeous looking pub which although stylish it still has a laidback feel. There is a nice local atmosphere here and a good mix of punters. The beer selection will please most and it’s not overly expensive. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in this part of town.

Lovely pub with quirky events, a friendly team, a cosy inside & a cool vibey beer garden. I had a delicious vegan Sunday roast yesterday & will definitely be going back for another one! I also remember them making the best mulled wine I’ve ever had last year😍
