About This Pub

Ah, The Manor Tooting – what a lovely little find in the midst of Tooting High Street. From the reviews I've had a look at, it's clear this place really nails the classic British pub experience with a touch of character. The food stands out as a real highlight; people are going on about the delicious roasts and other meals that come in hearty portions without costing a fortune, making it a top choice for a satisfying meal. The staff get plenty of praise too, always on hand with a smile and that extra bit of care that makes you feel right at home. It's got a nice mix of contemporary design and traditional pub charm, with an alfresco terrace that's perfect for soaking up the atmosphere on a sunny day. On the flip side, there might be some hassle with the opening times – it looks like there could be inconsistencies, so I'd suggest giving them a ring or checking online before you set off. All in all, it's a solid spot for a laid-back get-together or a family feed, and while it's not without its minor niggles, the positives far outweigh them. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth a visit for a bit of good food and good times.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The food is absolutely spot on, with generous portions and brilliant value – especially those Sunday roasts that folks rave about.
  • Staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making every visit feel like catching up with old mates.
  • It's got a cosy, homely atmosphere that's perfect for a relaxed lunch, family dinner, or even a special occasion like a birthday.
  • Great location in the heart of Tooting, just a short walk from the station, making it dead easy to pop in after a day out.
Cons
  • There seems to be a bit of confusion with the opening hours; the status suggests it might be closed sometimes, so it's worth checking ahead to avoid disappointment.
  • It could get quite busy on weekends, which might mean waiting around if you haven't booked a table.

Amazing Sunday roast! We’ve just moved to the area and this was our first time eating at our new local. We were not disappointed. Huge portions, delicious food, and really reasonable prices. Genuinely such good value for a meal out. We will definitely be back many more times. The staff are lovely. The Manor has great atmosphere also! Loads of seating, family friendly with a baby changing room, free shuffle board, and sport. Something for everyone at The Manor!
