About This Pub
Ah, Town Hall Tavern – it's one of those places that just feels like a proper gem in the heart of Manchester. From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, the staff are absolute stars; they're so approachable and make sure everyone feels looked after, which really sets the tone for a relaxed evening. The food's a highlight too – I'm talking hearty portions of pie and mash or fish and chips that hit the spot without overwhelming the plate, and there's even some unexpected treats like Kyiv-inspired fare that could surprise you if you're up for something a bit different. The atmosphere is spot on, whether you're popping in for a quiet drink or organising a bigger get-together, and they've got a fantastic range of ciders and cocktails to keep things flowing. On the flip side, it's hidden away in the alleyways, so it might take a minute to locate if you're new to the area, but once you're there, it's well worth the effort. Overall, with a solid 4.3 rating from heaps of happy visitors, it's a place I'd happily recommend for a good night out – just plan your route ahead!

Love this place. Authentic classic feel of a building and pub. Staff are every approachable..loads of seats inside. Situated in the alleyways and can be challenging to find.
Such a lovely place with amazing CJ that hosted our crazy 16 people event.
I really surprised to see Kyiv food in this place.
As Ukrainian who visited many European places this is really worth to visit in Manchester!!
Thank you CJ for your amazing hospitality.
Business owner should be proud to have people like CJ.
Popped in on a whim looking for some pub food and was VERY impressed. The staff were blooming lovely and atmosphere perfect! The pie n mash was so good and fish n chips SO tasty. Not had chips that good in ages!! Portion size is perfect, they don’t overload the plate with cheap food but was enough to feel full! Chef knows what he is doing! :-) (plus no cheap sauces, all proper stuff!)
