About This Pub

Ah, The Vine Inn – it's one of those hidden gems in Manchester that just hits the spot for a proper pub experience. From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, it's got this warm, traditional feel that makes you feel like you're stepping into a classic British local, away from all the hustle of the city centre. The staff really stand out; they're friendly and efficient, making sure everyone feels looked after, which adds to that cosy, community vibe. You've got a solid choice of beers at prices that won't sting your wallet, and the seating is surprisingly spacious once you venture up or down those steps – it's not just a tiny spot as it might seem at first glance. On a sunny evening, spilling out for a drink outside is just the cherry on top. But hey, it's not without its quirks; the website's a bit bare bones, so you might have to wing it when checking details, and if you're in the mood for something more trendy like craft cocktails, this might not be your first pick. Overall, though, it's a solid choice for a chilled-out catch-up with mates – I'd say give it a go if you're after that authentic pub charm without the pretence.

Cons
-

The website is pretty basic, so you might not find much detail online if you're planning ahead.

It's more of an old-school boozer, which might not suit if you're after fancy cocktails or a more modern bar scene.

Loved this pub. Looks like a tiny pub at first but lots of seating as you go up or down a couple of steps.
Proper traditional pub with a good, friendly atmosphere. People of all ages, and didn't seem to any posers or D'heads in when I was there last.
Old style boozer in the heart of Manchester. And in the age of wine bars, cocktail bars and craft breweries, unfortunately there aren't many of those left. That's partly what makes it great, but the staff are great, too! A decent selection of beer with fair prices.
And on warm evenings, spill out on the street and soak up the atmosphere. I love places like this and will come back in my next visit to Manchester!
Great pub with good beer selection tucked away off the main streets. Top notch atmosphere for some chilled drinks. Staff are friendly and provide an excellent service and prices are very reasonable.
One of the best traditional pubs left in the town centre. Excellent bar staff & friendly customers. Comfortable seating areas upstairs & below I would definitely recommend a visit to have a pint or two.
