About This Pub
Oh, let me tell you about Toho 35 – it's this fabulous Chinese restaurant in Bicester that's become a bit of a favourite for a proper evening out. From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, the food is just brilliant; we're talking fresh, authentic Cantonese dishes that blend traditional recipes with a modern twist, and folks are raving about the flavours and presentation – that sizzling beef fillet sounds like a must-try! The staff really make the place shine too; they're so friendly and attentive, always ready with a smile and happy to sort out any dietary preferences, which is a real plus if you're dining with mates who have specific needs. Then there's the cocktail lounge – it's a lovely spot for sipping on hand-crafted drinks, with deals like two for £12 that make it even more appealing, especially during happy hour. The atmosphere is spot on as well, all contemporary and luxurious, perfect for unwinding after a long day. On the flip side, though, it's purely an evening affair starting from 5 PM, so no luck if you're fancying a midday meal, and it's shut on Tuesdays, which might cramp your plans. Plus, with the operating status a tad unclear, it's probably wise to give them a ring first. All in all, it's a solid choice for a great night with good company and delicious grub, but just keep those timings in mind to avoid any hiccups.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The food is absolutely spot on – authentic Cantonese dishes that are fresh, tasty, and beautifully presented, with rave reviews for things like sizzling beef fillet.
-
The staff are lovely and really welcoming; they're enthusiastic, helpful, and go out of their way to accommodate dietary needs, like vegans or allergies.
-
It's got a great atmosphere with a contemporary, luxurious feel that's perfect for a relaxed evening, plus an exclusive cocktail lounge with hand-crafted drinks.
-
They offer brilliant deals, such as two cocktails for £12 during happy hour, and a wide selection of beers, wines, and spirits to suit all tastes.
-
Smashing location right in Bicester's city centre, making it easy to pop in after a day out, and the place is well-designed, clean, and inviting.
Cons
-
It's only open in the evenings from 5 PM, so if you're after a spot for lunch or a quick daytime bite, you'll have to look elsewhere.
-
They're closed on Tuesdays, which might throw a spanner in the works if that's your only free day.
-
The bar and restaurant hours can vary a bit, and with the status showing as closed, it might be worth double-checking before you head over, just to avoid any disappointment.

Great food, especially loved the lychee mojito!
Had a lovely meal here for my mums birthday, sizzling beef fillet was fantastic, and they were able to cater for a vegan and a nut allergy
My boyfriend and I have visited this restaurant a few times and we cannot speak more highly of it.
First of all, the man who works in the restaurant section is LOVELY. He’s such a sweet man and he always makes us smile whenever we go, he’s very kind and super enthusiastic about what he does.
I would highly recommend the drinks from the bar, especially the lychee mojito and martini! They’re delicious and my absolute favourite drinks to order.
There’s a large variety of food to pick from but everything we’ve ever ordered has always been impeccable. I would note that one egg fried rice is definitely enough for two people!
I would definitely recommend giving this place a try!
On my holiday trip from Germany to England
the restaurant Toho 35 was recommended to me and I was very surprised how high quality and tasty the food was, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the decor of the restaurant was very nice and fit a great service I had already gone out to eat 3 times, the prices of the dishes were not expensive and suitable for the high quality. I was able to have a great conversation with the chef of the restaurant during my last stay. Before I drove to Germany in my Opel corsa
I can recommend the restaurant to everyone and will eat there again on my next holiday in Bicester.
Best regards from Germany
Absolutely loved that! Food was really nice! We had deal 2 cocktails for £12 and they were so nice. Service is great. Place looks very nice, well designed and clean. Good located by the city centre. We had an amazing time there
