About This Pub
Ah, The Winston – it's one of those pubs that just warms your heart the moment you step inside. From what I've gathered, the staff go out of their way to make everyone feel welcome, whether you're a regular or just passing through, and that's always a winner for me. They've got a fantastic lineup of Joseph Holt beers and some brilliant deals on drinks, so you can sip away without worrying about the bill. The entertainment is spot on too, with karaoke nights, live music, and even quizzes that really bring the community together – it's ideal if you're after a bit of fun with friends or family. Plus, being dog-friendly adds a nice touch for those who like to bring their pets along. On the downside, though, it does wrap up by 11 PM most nights, which might not suit if you're hoping for a late one. And as it's very much a local haunt, it might take a visit or two to feel fully at home if you're from further afield. All in all, it's a solid choice for a cosy evening, offering that perfect balance of good times and good value – I'd say give it a go if you're in Salford!
