About This Pub
Oh, let me tell you about Hideaway Brewing Co – it's one of those places that just hits the spot if you're after a laid-back evening with mates. From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, the beers are an absolute highlight; they're brewed fresh on site with real care, offering a brilliant range that pairs perfectly with their homemade BBQ. The food's spot on too, with folks raving about the flavours and how it's all done with such passion – it's like getting a proper American-style feast without leaving Manchester. The vibe is super welcoming, making it easy to settle in and enjoy a chat over a pint. On the flip side, it's not open every day, so you might have to plan around that, and it's a short stroll from the busier spots, which could be a minor hassle if you're not up for the walk. Still, if you're in the area, it's well worth seeking out for a memorable night out – just keep an eye on what's available to avoid any surprises. All in all, it's a solid choice for anyone wanting a bit of authenticity and heart in their local haunt.

Cons
-
It's only open four days a week, so you'll need to check the schedule in advance to avoid disappointment.
-
The location's a bit of a walk from the main quays area, which might not suit everyone looking for something more central.
-
Occasionally, some menu items might be out of stock, like in one case with the short rib, so it pays to be flexible.

Great beer (sadly no photos were taken of just the beers!) and BBQ, all prepared on site with a lot of skill. It’s clear that the owner is passionate about both and puts his heart and soul into all he does. This independent family business is a Manchester gem and would recommend it to everyone. Would give more stars if possible!
Had a great evening here tonight! Fantastic food with great beers enjoyed by all. Dan was fantastic on all fronts running the ship. Highly recommend and will be back!
A short walk from the quays but far better food and drink than you can get from any place that’s there, if you’re a quays resident or visiting definitely come here instead!
Brilliant experience - if you want the homecooked BBQ American experience, this is the place to go. Top notch food paired with top notch service. The brews were incredible as well. Will be back and will recommend to my friends - amazing. Thank you!
The beer here is absolutely fantastic, with a great variety to choose from. The food is top-notch, perfectly complementing the drinks, and every bite is a treat. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. The taproom has such a relaxed, friendly vibe that really makes it a perfect place to hang out and enjoy good company, great drinks, and delicious food. It’s definitely the kind of place you want to come back to!
Been wanting to try the beer and BBQ here for ages, finally made it to Salford and wasn't disappointed. Had the Texas Trinity although they were out of short rib so had pulled pork instead.
When the food arrived, I originally thought the portion size a little disappointing, but we were wrong and we struggled to finish everything (Photos are a portion for 2), all the meats were great and had their own individual flavours, we also really enjoyed the cornbread, but everything complemented each other.
The beer is also fantastic, Rooster the Irish Red Ale was my favorite, and we had a great chat with the brewer who recommended a few other great beer spots (Which were also amazing)
While Hideaway is a little out of the way if you are in the center of Manchester, its worth the trip, especially on the weekends when the BBQ is also available.
