About This Pub
Ah, The White House, it's one of those pubs that just feels like a proper local gem in Walsall, you know? From what I've gathered from folks' chats online, the staff are top-notch, always greeting you with that genuine warmth that makes you want to stick around for another round. The food's a real highlight too – think fresh ingredients grilled up nicely, with hearty portions and some cracking deals that make it easy on the wallet, whether you're tucking into a sizzling skillet or grabbing a quick bite with the family. It's got that community spirit going for it as well, pitching in for local charities and offering spaces for groups, which is lovely to see. On the flip side, it can get a bit lively with kids running about, so if you're after a peaceful pint, it might not always hit the mark. And just a heads-up, there could be the odd hiccup with opening times, so best to confirm before you pop over. Overall, it's a solid choice for a relaxed night out, blending the best of a traditional pub with a fresh twist – I'd say give it a go if you're in the area, you won't be disappointed!
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The staff are absolutely lovely and always ready with a warm welcome, making you feel right at home as soon as you walk in.
-
The food is spot on – fresh, well-cooked, and served in generous portions, with great options for veggies and families, all at honest prices that won't break the bank.
-
It's a fantastic spot for a relaxed meal or a catch-up with mates, offering brilliant value deals like two mains for a steal, and it's clear they put effort into being part of the local community.
-
The place has a fresh, refurbished feel that's clean and inviting, perfect for unwinding after a walk or just enjoying a pint in a traditional pub setting with a bit of extra flair.
Cons
-
It can get a tad noisy at times, especially with families and little ones around, which might not be ideal if you're after a quiet evening.
-
There might be some uncertainty with the opening hours, as it seems like it could be closed unexpectedly, so it's worth double-checking before heading out.

Visited the White House in Aldridge with my wife and two kids, and we had a lovely experience. The food was fresh, well cooked, and generously portioned – especially for the price, which was fantastic. Everything came out quickly and hot, which is always a plus when you’ve got hungry little ones!
The staff were friendly and helpful throughout, and even the toilets were clean – which tells you the place is well looked after. For a family meal that’s good value, tasty, and well-run, it’s definitely one we’d return to.
Last time we visited there were lots of screaming children. None on this visit just a little boy colouring, and well behaved. Fish and chips were great lunch offer of two mains for £13 bargain £6.50 each. Was expecting a mini fish but had a large piece of white meaty fish battered well, plenty of chips and mushy peas
Server was very helpful a credit to you.
Our experience at The Whitehouse pub was excellent from start to finish and would highly recommend. Staff were friendly and accommodating and all meals ordered were lovely and great value for money, especially the puddings - they were huge.
Great restaurant after a hike that the family went on
Such a beautiful place... Refurbished to a very high standard (July 24) this place is truly astonishing, impeccably clean and the staff here are extremely welcoming.
The food coming from the kitchen during breakfast service was fresh and very well presented... Lots of happy diners 😋
