Absolutely fantastic pub, Landlady and staff are welcoming and friendly. Recently, the pub had a make-over, which is absolutely stunning. The pub is very dog and child friendly and has a brilliant atmosphere well worth visiting.

Fantastic, warm welcoming and family friendly pub. Recently renovated with a modern twist and the locals are very friendly. Decent pool table and a great selection of beers, ciders and ales. The staff cannot do enough for you. Great TVs to watch the sports on and can accommodate most games on different tvs which is always a bonus!

Not nice people , very rude with bad attitude told me to get my little nervous dog off my knee , was doing no harm to anyone, kept harping on about the new seats , people were sniggering and laughing, one of them clicky places , only welcome if your face fits in with the rest of the miserable lot

Extremely disappointed. Food delayed by 30 mins, and cold when it arrived. Staff had no enthusiam and looked like they did not want to be there most of the time but seemed okay when they were chatting behind the bar whilst I awaited my food - just rude. For the price we paid I would have expected more, or better quality food and service, it left me asking why I even bothred. When I asked for mayonaise they begrudingly complied with my request but it took some convincing. For a professional work place, if you are not able to offer the service you advise then just say this and don't make promises you cannot keep.
