About This Pub
Ah, The Spinners on Church Street – what a gem for us pub enthusiasts! From the reviews I've come across, it's clear this place has really hit the mark with its recent refurb, giving it a fresh, lovely look that makes you feel right at home as soon as you step in. The beer is where it truly shines, with a fantastic selection of real ales that's well-kept and has even landed them in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide – I'd say that's a win for anyone after a quality pint. The atmosphere is just brilliant too, especially during festive times or when you're dodging the rain; it's got that welcoming Christmasy feel and staff who greet you with a smile, making every visit feel relaxed and enjoyable. On the food front, it's solid for a pub grub fix – things like lunches are freshly made and tasty – but it's not got a massive menu, so if you're hoping for a full-blown meal, you might want to keep expectations in check. Prices are nice and affordable, which is always a bonus for a casual night out. All in all, while there are a couple of niggles like the lack of a website for quick info or being shut one day a week, it's got far more going for it and comes across as a reliable spot for good times and great company. If you're in the area, I'd definitely recommend popping in for a try – you might just find your new local!

Just undergone full refurbishment, lovely decor, great beer. Food to follow.
Really well kept pub. Great selection of real ales
Lovely lunch.
Christmas atmosphere.
Good pub to dive in from the rain. Really nice atmosphere and a lovely greeting as you come in
Excellent food and service. There isn't a huge amount of choice but enough for us and it was freshly prepared and really lovely. They took good care of us and ensured that we had everything we wanted. The beer was excellent too and very well kept.
My first visit to this village on the edge of Greater Manchester. This is the bottom Spinners as there is another pub of the same name in Adlington. Deservedly in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide for excellent real ale. I had a pint of Jorvik from Yorks Rudgate brewery.Excellent.
