About This Pub
Ah, The Weir Bar – what a lovely spot it is, tucked away in the heart of Brentford in this ancient building that's been around for over 400 years. I have to say, it's one of those places that just feels right; the team there are so welcoming and on point with their service, making every visit feel personal and enjoyable. The food's a real treat too, with plenty of options that hit the spot, and don't even get me started on that waterside garden – it's an absolute delight for a summer evening or a lazy weekend pint. They've got all sorts of drinks on offer, from classic whiskies to fun cocktails, and it's clear why they've picked up awards for their hospitality. On the downside, though, the live music events can crank up the volume a notch too high, which might not suit if you're after a peaceful natter. Still, it's a fantastic venue for a good laugh with friends or even a special occasion, as long as you pick your timing right – overall, I'd say it's well worth a visit for anyone in the area looking for a bit of that old-school pub vibe with a modern twist.

-
The food is delicious with a great variety, perfect for a proper meal out whether you're after something light or hearty.
-
That waterside garden is a real highlight, especially on a sunny day – it's one of the best spots in West London for al fresco drinks.
-
They've got a brilliant selection of drinks, from cracking beers and whiskies to tasty cocktails, and even some fun events like happy hours.
Cons
-
Live music can get a bit too loud sometimes, which might spoil a relaxed chat or a quiet catch-up with friends.
-
It looks like they might not be open every day of the week, so it's worth checking the schedule to avoid any disappointment.

Amazing atmosphere, decor, music & staff. Erica and her team provide us phenomenal service and we will definitely return. This is definitely the best kept secret in the area that we stumbled across today.
Little hidden gem (and probably the best) in the area! Great food great service! Lovely beer garden too. Highly recommend. We definitely come back
Love the food at this place & Erica our sever was particularly attentive - just right ! The food is really good - quality and variety are exceptional.
Unfortunately there was live music which was very loud so spoiled it & one couple didn’t even bother to stay. Depends what the pub wants to be known for ?
Get yourselves here. The beers are good, the cocktail happy hour hilarious, and the food tasty and delicious. Add in a lovely intimate beer garden and a convenient location and you have a pub to which I’ll definitely return. Just a lovely evening!
Our family of 26 lunched on Sat 12/4/25 at The Weir in their Conservatory Restaurant to ‘Celebrate Life’ for a sad death. Bittersweet inevitably, but hugely successful on every level. Newly refurbished and with super riverside gardens, the whole experience could not have gone better. Highest recommendation. Thanks!
