About This Pub

Ah, The Village Inn – it's one of those unpretentious spots that just feels like a proper community hub, you know? From what I've gathered chatting about it, the staff are absolute stars, always polite and making sure everyone feels welcome, which really sets the tone for a relaxed evening. You've got all the classic pub trappings there, like pool, darts, and even a fruit machine, plus they crank up the live music on weekends and screen the footie, so it's brilliant if you're up for some casual entertainment with mates. The outdoor area is a nice touch too, all heated and with TVs, perfect for soaking up the sun or catching a game al fresco. On the flip side, though, it's worth noting that things can get pricey during big events – I mean, who wants to fork out a fortune for a pint when you're just out for a good time? And it's pretty basic fare overall, with no food to speak of, so if you're peckish, you might have to plan ahead. Still, for a straightforward, affordable pint in a welcoming setting most days, it's definitely one I'd recommend giving a go if you're in the area.

Pros and Cons

Cons

  • It's a bit basic overall, with no food on offer, so you might need to head elsewhere if you're after a proper meal.
  • The vibe might not suit everyone if you're looking for something more fancy or modern – it's straightforward and no-frills.

Hanwell Hootie, the biggest day for all the pubs in Hanwell. The village inn has more people in one day than a whole month & decide to charge £7.50 for a pint of Guinness, RIP OFF is an understatement. Stay clear of this joke of a pub.

Great pub, live music at the weekends, Shows the football. Decent pint of gunniness, very welcoming and polite barstaff. Definitely worth popping in if you are in the area.

The last stop on my Hanwell quest, is a proper wet let Irish boozer with all your traditional pub features which you will struggle to find in inner London. I hear you ask what are the features?!? Well they have the Big Three! ▪️Pool Table ▪️Dart Board ▪️Fruit Machine They also have a decent sized beer garden as well. All in all Hanwell seems like a lovely place with a fair amount of pubs in a small striking range - I felt like I only scratched the surface on my visit of which lay beneath the rice tapestry of W7. P.S West London isn't that bad after all
